Cons. The hotel is old and outdated, and has clearly never been renovated. There’s no WiFi in the room, and the room was not up to my cleanliness preferences. Unfortunately, hotels in this area during the summer in Boston are wicked expensive—$400+ per night. I paid almost $200 per night for this hotel, and even that was far too much for the quality. The one benefit: great location.
Pros. The price is fantastic, especially considering the location, which can't be beat. The accommodations were adequate.
Cons. Since the building was old, the wifi didn't reach the rooms reliably. Wifi was available in the lobby, and there was a business center with two computers, printers, and a copier. Unfortunately, the printer for computers were not set-up. I had to use the FedEx around the corner to print.
Pros. This was probably nice in the 80's. Now it needs a renovation.
Pros. Overall great stay. Friendly and accommodating staff. Location was amazing. Just a few steps away from back bay train station which was perfect as this is where the train picks you up to go to Gillette stadium (if interested in or going to watch a New England Patriots football game). Close by are a couple of great breakfast spots. Look at pictures before you book so you won't be in shock and know exactly what you're getting which is a clean room for a great price for that location.
Cons. The only thing I noticed was a little dust in the corner of the washroom door.
Pros. For me everything was perfect. I was in a high floor which I think was why it was so quiet. I was right across from ice maker which is a super bonus for me! The staff helped with restaurant advice & direction. They were so nice to hold my luggage after I had to check out. Flying is stressful for me so ease with that really helps me
Cons. Local restaraunt advice & friendliness of staff. They're a very green hotel too! They're so close to so many options. They were perfect for the conference I had to go to. Within walking distance of conference & near really stellar restaurants. All walking distance!!!
Pros. Did not like anything about hotel.
Cons. Infested with roaches.
Pros. Hotel itself was nothing special but the price and location was perfect for spending the weekend in the city.
Pros. It was air conditioned and well located
Cons. The room smelled bad and the bathtub drain area was corroded and black. No wifi in the rooms.
Pros. Business center with internet connection and printer
Cons. Internet connection not available in every room, but only in common areas/business center
Pros. It was well located and relatively inexpensive and the bed was comfortable.
Cons. However, it was very worn and the corners in the bathroom were dirty. The tub was disgusting. The carpet was torn and dirty. Although cheaper than other hotels, it was not cheap -- $262 for one night. I would not stay there again.
