How to Get to North
Plane
Although North doesn’t have its own airport, you can fly to Columbia Metropolitan (CAE), which is located 23 miles from North. Columbia Metropolitan is the most popular, with regular flights from American Airlines, Delta, WestJet and other airlines departing from the United States. The shortest domestic flight to North departs from Allentown and takes around 4h 11m.
Train
Amtrak is the only carrier operating train routes to North. The train journey from North to Winter Park takes 8h 18m and costs around $61 for a one-way ticket. When coming by train from Alexandria, expect to pay about $144 for a 10h 16m trip.
Car
Another option to get to North is to pick up a car rental from Atlanta, which is about 189 miles from North. You’ll find branches of Kyte and Hertz, among others, in Atlanta.
Bus
You can travel by bus to North using Tornado Bus or Wanda Coach. From New York, the bus ride to North takes 810 miles and will cost you around $221. From Gibsonton, the ticket costs about $545 for a journey of 1379 miles.
