Yes. Although most of the roads in Venice are toll-free, you will be paying some tolls any time you are driving on certain roads in the city. Venice-Florence Rd is one of the tolled roadways in Venice.
The maximum speed limit for California is 65 mph on highways and 55 mph on two-lane roads. School areas have a top speed limit of 20 mph, while popular sites with many pedestrians impose a speed limit of 30 mph. If you are looking to catch some air in Venice, then the highway is the best place. It is, however, better to hit areas with more people as there are more attractions. The speed limits on most roads are visible as you drive, and it is best to adhere to them to avoid a ticket or a night in county jail.
When driving your rental car in Venice, you will have to pay a congestion charge like any other driver any time you enter a congestion charge zone. Signposts with a white ‘C’ in a red circle are what indicate to the drivers that they are entering congestion charge zones.
There are a lot of beaches in Venice, and this attracts tourists and locals. As such, it may prove difficult to find parking if you don’t know the places to check out. A good place to park is usually Venice Beach. Parking here starts at around $4 per day. Aside from this, a good number of secure, well-maintained paid parking lots near the beach charge from around $10 to $15 per day. Adventurous people can park at the lots in Santa Monica for around $11 a day and walk leisurely to the beach as they take in the sights.

Pros:
It was a good value! It beat the overpriced rates of Enterprise that are taking advantage of the tourists and locals in Venice, Florida. I drove 40 miles to get this Rental, and it was worth it.Cons:
Staff was Great, but you need to get a drop box for rental keys for after hours and weekends.3 locations in Venice

Booked a convertible it confirmed. Got there and they didn't have a convertible because on was returned earlier that day with damage. They could have called or emailed before I paid to Uber to the dealership. The woman that was helping was insanely abrasive and rude about it instead of apologetic. I understand things happen but I absolutely should have been notified before my reservation time plus she did not need to be so abrasive about it. Apologetic and calm if the way she should have approached it. I am extremely unsatisfied and will not book again.2.0 Poor

When we got there they did not have our truck. Two others had reservations for trucks as well. The lady said she didn't know when they might get any trucks...why was the reservation allowed to be booked if no trucks? Bait and switch at its finest. Never renting from Avis again.6.0 Okay

Pros:
Easy pickup and drop off!Cons:
Car was not as clean as I expected it to be. Windshield was dirty on the inside and it wasn’t vacuumed very good. Kind of felt funny turning it in in that condition even though I only rented it for 2 days and only drove it on of them.10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
Pickup staff was good. Drop-off quick and easy.Cons:
Car condition at pickup could have been handled better. Passenger side had been sideswiped from front to back when I picked it up. This was not conveyed completely and correctly. Person at pick-up didn’t seem to have the documented condition in the record. Also gas cap was very broken when I picked it up.3.2 Poor
