The courtyard outside of the room was nice.
The first room we checked into had no heat and after 3 hours we were told it takes a while to warm up. Finally we were given a different room. The ceiling was falling in, there were missing ceiling tiles
The bed was very comfortable.
Staff couldn't find our reservation. She spoke very poor english. The room was very outdated. Had extension cords everywhere. The lamps flickered when turned on. Smelled really bad. The biscuits were hard on the continental breakfast.
The phones didn't work pool was out door locks didn't lock!
The hotel had a restaurant attached. Food was average.
Hotel was dated. I had trouble with my door handle on numerous occasions.
Not really sure.
The floors were dirty. There was dirt and dust on the tile. There were LOTS of dead bugs--roaches, crickets, spiders-along the walls, behind the bed.
Room was not very clean, dead flies around the bathroom, straw on the floor, bath mat was dirty and coming apart.
The room hadn't had any maintanence done on it for quit a while. The TV didn't work very good, there were burn holesin the blankets, the drains were backing up and were full of crud, the soda machine was empty and the outside was falling apart.
Good for the price. Had fridge and microwave both rooms we had were clean. Older hotel, but well kept.
While not a fancy hotel, we would rate this as average, probably a fair value for the price. Rooms were clean but they are showing some age and needs some minor maintenance. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We found this motel to be a clean, basic, no nonsense place to stay. It's hard to find a place to stay in Manhattan, KS on a football weekend, and we chose to stay in Abilene instead. It is an older property, but appeared to be decently taken care of. We booked two rooms. The beds in the room with two double beds were very comfortable, however one pillow was like a brick, and the other was soft and fluffy. My companion in the room with the king bed reported that it was not a very comfortable bed. The sheets were very soft, and the rooms were both very clean. If you aren't looking for a fancy place to spend the night, I'd say this is the place for you. It was an excellent value for the money.
Don't stay at any price. Dirty carpet with dead spiders in the dust at the corners. No grounded plugs in the room for laptop. Filthy window. mismatched, crooked tiles, bathroom door sticks, marks on the walls, cheap dingy bedding, breakfast a joke. and had to carry our paper plate to adjacent mexican bar for a table. Night receptionist o.k., morning receptionist was surly. We couldn't wait to get out of there.
We have stayed in this motel MANY times on our way to K-STATE country. Staff is always friendly. Quiet night, clean room. Great price.
pool for the kids....restaurant & bar for the adults....modern rooms, and we loved the private balcony from the room...i guess every room has one. \nwe'll be back.
