Comfort & cleanliness was good. Food quality was good. Hotel staff were helpful and had a good command of English, which of itself is a considerable bonus.
It is not yet complete externally and the term 'resort' does not convey the truth in that there are no facilities on site at all. The grounds appear to be totally devoted to a Palm Tree Farm. It is doubtless a work in progress with a concept in mind that is not yet quite clear.
Trying to find its location
Nothing . The room was adequate but overpriced for what it was. To describe it as a junior suite was an exaggeration and it certainly did not have panoramic views from a private balcony .
Lack of views of Valley of Temples . Lack of any facilities . Inability to obtain even a sandwich on arrival . Description as only hotel in archaelogical park area creates misleading impression . Characterless hotel in dusty setting devoid of views with difficult access ,particularly in the dark , despite being adjacent to a major road . "Resort"-saw nothing to justify use of this term.
Alicia was really helpful in getting us settled in and helped get reservations at a very good restaurant in agrigento. The hotel is a new facility, with well outfitted rooms and a complete first-class breakfast service.
The staff, very very kind
