There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The pullout sofa was the size of a twin bed. You could tell that the sofa bed had not been cleaned there were plastic bags down in the sofa. The hotel smelled of smoke. The stairwell smelled musty and damp.
The room was very spacious. I absolutely loved the crisp sheets and the choice of firm or fluffy pillows. My nights sleep was wonderful! There were lots of washrags and towels, not just the bare minimum.
Best night of sleep in a while. Such a comfortable bed!
The comfortable bed
Filthy rooms. We had to be changed to 3 different rooms and all were improperly cleaned and falling apart, the last one also smelled like mildew. Carpeting wasn't vacuumed, shower curtain was filthy, shower was dirty. Manager was defensive and in denial.
Near many restaurants and stores.
The hotel and room reeked of cigarette smoke. Terrible stay.
The room was big, I absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and it was convenient to shopping and several restaurants. My room was quiet and the bed was wonderfully soft. I always felt safe.
The gym was tiny and treadmill sounded like it needs maintenance, the heater said it was 69 but it felt colder. Wish the breakfast had a bit more to it and ran a bit later but it wasn't a major issue. Also only ice machine is on first floor.
Very dirty, not kept clean (rooms, hot tub, elevators, overall gross)
Pretty much everything. Again very dirty.
Was exposed to Bed bugs somehow after checking in the room treated at the hospital missed the wedding that I cam to town for and also was escorted by police off the premises. I was totally humiliated and missed work and still being treated
Room cleanliness was awful.
convenient to where I needed to go.
The room smelled like smoke, even though it was a non smoking room. The bathroom was clean but looked horrible, like a 2 yr old did the caulking on the tub.
Beds were very comfy with lots of pillows to go with them. Great room!
Nice 4G signal. Starbucks and freeway nearby. Fairly close to downtown Akron. Breakfast was decent.
Parking was cramped. Room smelled upon arrival. Dated, all around.
The carpet in the room was torn and had two holes in the entrance way. The carpet was sticky and the bedspread was not clean. Other guests were loud and cursed and yelled until 2 am. Overall the hotel was disgusting and the breakfast was not good.
I specifically picked this hotel as I had a very short to my various family members homes. The breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and the staff was able to accommodate an extra night. We will definitely book again for future visits!
No, everything was perfect!
Nice Breakfast in the morning and could get directly on the road and did not have to look for a restaurant.
I chose the wrong Hotel location, When I tried to re-schedule the location, a week+ before arriving, Priceline said I could not do so. However when I called 2 days before arrival, I could have changed hotels, but the price would have been more.
helpful staff, wonderful breakfast, great value for price.
just a little smokey smell
The staff who ran the breakfast area were friendly and efficient, keeping the area well stocked and clean (despite having several wrestling teams going through at the same time).
The room was small and cramped. There appeared to be toothpaste residue on the mirror in the bathroom. My biggest complaint was that to get to our non-smoking room, you had to walk through the smoking room area after getting off the elevator.
Good location. Walked to restaurant for dinner. Room very clean.
Air in the hallways was stagnant and smelled like smoke. Though we had a non-smoking room, our clothes smelled like smoke when we left.
I came to hotel and the staff treated us great, the first year son attended University of Akron no dorms were available and hotel gave a great price since students had to stay somewhere. The jacuzzi in the room was filthy and there were stains on the bedding. The hallway needs more light and the phones need to be wiped down better. The staff is what keeps me coming back because if you let them know they take care of it for you.
We've had better experiences at other hotels in this chain; this one badly needs renovation. Our smoking room smelled like it, while the rest of the hotel had a room deodorizer smell. Our room had dirty carpet and a burn hole in the upholstery. The corner lobby breakfast area was cramped and poorly designed making breakfast difficult and a long wait. When I discussed my poor impressions at check-out, the manager seemed quite surprised!
Our room appeared to have new carpet, new bedding, including the comforter, clean tile in bathroom BUT, there was mold on the wallpaper in the bathroom (near the mirror)
Cigarette but was in the a/c vent. The phone was greasy and had ashes all over it. It looked like someone had drawn on the walls with cigarette buts. Maybe non-smoking rooms are cleaner?
Bathroom was run-down. There was a cigarette but in the a/c vent. It looked like someone had made marks on the walls with a cigarette but. The room phone was greasy and had ashes on it.
