Very clean and comfortable.
The location with the surrounding shopping and eatery opportunities was great. The price was within my budget. When I showed displeasure with the rooms, the staff worked on positive changes.
The price was low so I guess you get what you paid for: I felt like the Goldilocks in the three bears-1st room too much smoke residual, could not breath. 2nd room - killed a roach on the counter, bathroom shower falling apart. 3rd room- almost just right.
Rooms need repair and painting
beimg plaved in a handicapped room.
That it was in a great and the staff was very friendly.
That the key cards didn't work
The location of the hotel
Beds were a full size and not queen
clean and a good staff
The room size was ok, and the bed was soft with nice pillows. The room looked better inside than the look of the hotel from outside.
The area to hang clothes was too close to the sink, which was outside the bathroom. It was inconveniencing trying to make sure water did not spill on my clothes when using the sink. T.V remote did not turn it on. We had to use the manual knob to turn it.
few sitting for breakfast
personnel were accommodating to any of my requests. that is as expected
the room was musty like mold, the key lock did not work correctly anytime. weak shower pressure.
Theres no elevator or luggage cart to haul your luggage if yourr on the 2nd floor. The door was jammed and it took 3 minutes to open my door each time.. the breakfast was a joke lol. The internet didnt work and neither did the exercise equipment
The microwave and refrigerator were a plus.
Bed was too small and there were only outside corridors.
Numerous issue. Flooded carpet, door locks not working, ac not working in night, neighbors that partied until 4 in the morning, neighbors that smoked in a nonsmoking room, the staff painted my room during my stay, and no towel rack in the bathroom.
The bed was very comfortable. Loved the pillow top. The staff was friendly & accommodating.
It was noisy outside our room. Ask for a room on the back.
Old, equipment does not work in gym, poor breakfast selections
Desk clerk and manager were very helpful and even interested in finding me a place to plug in my Chevy Volt.
Breakfast was a little meager compared to others of this star class. Bread slices were wrapped in plastic wrap and was stale, and raisin bread was the only choice. Tea selection was very limited - one herbal and after I asked, they brought out Earl Grey
The room was cleaner than the last one i stayed in.
The ac/heater unit wasn't working properly.
The location was great.
The rooms are old and outdated. Furniture was nasty with stains. Very cheap beds that felt hard and uncomfortable. I was deeply depressed and overwhelmed at how unattractive the room looked for the money I paid. I will never return. Not recommended.
The staff was very nice (front desk and housekeeping).
HAD ROACHES!!!! I KILLED 3 IN THE FIRST 10 MINUTES IN THE ROOM. My room phone didn't worked either! The staff was understanding and gave me another room, but who wants to move in the middle of the night when it's cold with a bunch of bags and a baby?
It was cheap.
The shower and bathroom area were too small. The lobby and breakfast area were inadequate and the breakfast was lacking.
I had to be moved to another room that was more accommodating
I was placed in a smoking room and I a non-smoker. The room reaked of smoke and the ell got into everything I brought and lingered for a few days.
Accommodations for the price
I've stayed here on multiple nights and they have no type of loyal customer deals or bargains. No discounted rate for repeat customers
This is a. Old and poorly revamped Jamison inn. The worst part about this hotel experience was actually the bed. The beds were like bricks. Second worst experience was the dimly lit bathroom. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone
Okay nights sleep. Decent breakfast.
A/C let room get too warm before cooling it down again. Weak shower. Cost is too high.
TV stopped working so they moved us to another room & it smelt of must & mold. Was told no other rooms were available.
Location and 24hrs front desk. I also like the parking lot lighting
One staff member lied to me about the king suites available rooms on bottom floor.
Very comfortable bed, nicely away from the road so there was peace and quiet during sleeping hours...
WIFI not working, PC in the lobby had the wrong date and time set which caused me some issues on certain websites, and the breakfast (continental) could have been improved with just a couple simple additions...
Everything except the location
Easy parking and room access from parking and exiting front desk clerk. The checking out front desk clerk was pleasant, and kind. She was on duty Saturday morning.
My check-in desk clerk. Poor attitude, distant and non-chalet. She did not connect. Seems as if she couldn't care less if we stayed or left. She was on duty Friday afternoon
That it was located near the mall
I did not get the room that I reserved. And when I arrived the guy who checked me in at 130 in the morning had us standing outside in the cold freezing instead of letting us in the lobby. He just seemed like he had no knowledge of what he was doing.
Good location. Refrigerator and microwave in the room.
dirty, bugs, old, nasty carpet
I loved the location.
I did not like the fact that there were lots of bugs(roaches) in the initial room. The night clerk was helpful and changed my room with out any hesitation.
I love the fact that the hotel is in a midst of everything (mall, restaurants, gas stations, and the interstate.
I did not like the fact that I was unable to select my room (downstairs and the front side of the building near the office). I was a little uncomfortable being upstairs with my son during my stay so I brought a pet for security reasons.
The carpet was disgusting and the bathroom toilet wouldn't stop running! The tub need to be replaced therefore I decided to not shower until I got home! Nice staff!
The staff was really nice
The hotel is old and out dated
I did not like the fact the hotel needs alot of updating.
This room was last updated many years ago - dark green carpet, cracked sink, furniture from the 1980s, and an oil stained recliner. My past experiences with Jameson Inns were good; however, had the outside temperature been warmer, I would have slept in my car. One good side was the room was clean and the bed was comfortable but that does not negate the cave-like feeling while in the room.
fOR THE MONEY THIS WAS NOT A BAD DEAL. WE WERE NOT REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE BREAKFAST, HOWEVER IT DID START US ON OUR DAY. THE BEDS WERE EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE FOR ALL. THE ROOMS COULD USE ON OVERHAUL. GOOD CENTRAL LOCATION FOR ALL TO DO IN ALBANY. WE WILL NOT STAY HERE ANYMORE, WILL GO TO THE SITE WHERE WE NORMALLY STAY.
