noise, so much noise from the street
noise. Impossible to sleep.
the apartment was very roomy & spacious; it was close enough to sta. eulalia beach & the strip (both less than 5min drive away)
check-out is a good hour earlier (11am) compared to the standard noon-time check-out
Superb value for money, delightful hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. Spotlessly clean, huge rooms, well equipped and easily large enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Really excellent little gym. Karaoke in the bar is a tourist attraction in itself
Public areas of the hotel are becoming very shabby- it badly needs a coat of paint and if not done in the next year or so it will begin to look much scruffier than the surrounding hotels. Beautiful, cool first-floor lobby is left dusty and unused- a pool table, table-tennis, drinks machine and a couple of soft chairs here would make a nice, cool hangout away from the sun.
The friendliness of most of your staff.
One receptionist booked us a cab by a company who were paid directly to the hotel. This was more expensive than the cabs we had used previously. When we booked the following day she was quite rude to me and doubted my word. As i was with my mother who is in a wheelchair we used taxi`s every day and the saving was quite significant. I also asked her if Carvoeiro was suitable for a wheelchair. It was not and cost us over 60 euros to go and return after just a few minutes. We saw several people in wheelchairs while we were in Portugal and feel the staff should be better informed.
Too many sales reps. Noisy families. Very smokey reception. No information in hotel room
