Stay was a quick one but it was all good
The hotel was under construction - so we did not get the full effect - understandable
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Free internet and free breakfast.
This hotel is being bought by LaQuinta and is undergoing renovation.Room was comfortable but lobby was a mess and breakfast was in temporary quarters in the hallway on the 2nd floor. Front desk was in back of lobby in temporary quarters also. I did get the room for xxx plus tax and fees though.
The staff was very friendly, and they were apologetic about the renovations.
They were doing major renovations on the ground floor of the hotel, so the fitness room and laundry facilities were not available. We were told that there was a nearby hotel that would allow us to use theirs, but it was disappointing.Overall, the hotel was nice, and the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. It was disappointing that there were so many renovations on the ground floor though. It was really like a construction zone when we walked in the front door.
I did not like much except leaving!
The place was under construction, everything was temporarily moved in out of the way places, like go up to 2nd floor to get continintal breakfast, lights blinding me all night long even through the shades, couldn't adjust the heat, so I slept in 61* temp1 being bad & 10 being perfect, this motel in Knoxville TN was a # 2
Friendly staff, quiet room, free internet, and better than average breakfast.
Third floor is undergoing renovations. My room was missing trash cans, towel bars and toilet paper holder. Staff brought up trash cans.Friendly staff and clean, quiet rooms. A little remote from Knoxville but convenient to airport.
This hotel is in the process of remodeling. Our room was on the floor being remodeled. The room had new carpet and flooring. The furniture and bedding wasn't new. The staff explained this to us.Very good.
Closeness to the airport. Friendly staff
The room was out of date and you couldn't completely close the drapes.
Location, Free Breakfast Friendly Staff
Hotel Room was dated and showing signs of deferred maintenance. Toilet seat was barely attached. Electrical outlets were missing covers. Sloppy repairs where items had been relocated. The hotel is located directly across from the airport. The staff was very friendly and the room was freshened daily. The room looked old and is in need of upkeep. Most of the items could be easily identified if the management took a walk. Not sure if it was in the middle of renovation or just deferred maintenance. There were switch and electric plates missing from the wall, broken grill to heater and shabby repairs when the hair dryer was re-located. The toilet seat barely stayed attached to the toilet - would have taken 2 minutes to tighten.
Awesome breakfast, extremely pleasant and accommodating staff, really nice heated indoor pool.
The bed was very soft which isn't really a problem except for the fact it is so soft it doesn't hold it's shape well, and the fitted sheet does not stay on. We wrestled with the fitted sheet all night long. They need to be held on with straps. The hotel was very easy to find, and convenient to lots of restaurants and highways. The staff was great - very pleasant and eager to please. The breakfast was awesome (3 kinds of breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fresh fruit, fruit cups of grapefruit, mangoes, etc, eggs, toast, bagels, hot waffles, milk, juice and more. The hotel was kept very clean, some things could use updating, but they were in the process of doing that. When the updating is done it will be even more spectacular.
Clean accommodations and convenient location to Knoxville airport
We've used PL for years & often ask the hotel directly for king or double bed configurations. Hotels have been obliging-always. Teresa @ FFI was not helpful. Said we asked PL for a 'king'and couldn't be changed locally. Totally false. Annie helped us outAll in all our experience was good, with the exception of the attitude of Teresa at the front desk. We've stayed at many different hotels thru PL and each one has ALWAYS been helpful in trying to accommodate our bed requests. This was a first time a clerk didn't try to help and she obviously did not know what she was talking about...told me she could not change us from a king bed room to a double bed room...that we had to go back through PL to have it changed. She just didn't want to bother. I called back later and spoke with Annie who was more than helpful and cheerfully made the change for us. When we checked in later and...
