Perfect for leisure or business, the Mercure Alexandria Romance overlooks the Mediterranean. Close to the city centre, in one of Alexandria's most elegant areas, the hotel is an ideal point of departure for exploring the ancient city founded by Alexander the Great. Stroll along the Corniche, visit the Greco-Roman Museum, explore the Mosque and the Citadel of Qaitbay in the Anfouchi quarter, and see the ruins of the fabled Lighthouse, once considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
stafe are freindly good size room and a good view
house maid was a bit slack and there was no internet
The cool sea breez
The staff were obliging and friendly. It was reasonably easy to find and the taxi drivers all knew its location. The views were really great and the double-glazing helped a lot with the traffic noise of the busy street.
They had renovations happening on two floors. When we voiced our concern we were assured that we would be on an upper floor so would not be bothered by the noise of the work. But we could still hear the thumping of workers knocking down walls and so on. We think hotels should close while they do their renovations?
Location in cornich center
Maintenance noisy. Traffic (hotel located on congested highway). No safety box in rooms. TVs very old.
The most worst hotel I stay in my life.
Service bad from the staff, the room is old and not clean
