Clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Good for a no frills place to crash. Didn't get to the breakfast, but there was coffee in the lobby that we were able to grab before hitting the road.
There was a bit of a musty/old smell in the bathroom. Also, not really sure the thermostat was working correctly. We woke up in the middle of the night sweating. Not the hotel's fault, but there was also a child running up and down the hall screaming from 330-530 in the morning.
Older motel but Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking, breakfast and shuttle service. Nice quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and metro. Enjoyed our stay very much.
It was quiet even though close to main roads into dc. The snack room was incredible and bed very comfortable
Comfortable rooms, kitchen with a wide choice of drinks and snacks which are included in the room rate. Buffet breakfast and shuttle bus to metro and old town make this hotel and excellent choice for visitors to DC who do not want to stay in the city.
Shortage of hnagers in the room.
Location is good, in a nice/safe area. Easy/free parking on-site The breakfast is same all days but fine/standard continental. The free snacks are great esp if you have kids. There are many restaurants you can walk to easily, and the historic archtecture is quite charming. King street to the south has nice shops etc. Overall a good choice..
I would like to see the hotel become more "green", maybe using less styrofoam & offer a recycling container since we threw away many water bottles etc.The metro station was not as close as I had thought; might be a long walk for families with young children? There is a bus stop right out front but we did not explore that option, may wish to do that. Don't drive into the city; parking is very difficult & expensive..
Liked the hot breakfast bar, courtesy car and snack kitchen
Rooms dirty, plain and noisy.
I loved the small kitchen full of nice food that was open throughout day and night. I also liked that smoking rooms were available.
