Good location, nice pool area and large room.
No waffles on the breakfast during the week.
The cleaning service is not all day. It seems like they have a schedule and after 12 you are almost out of luck. The lobby area needs new furniture the couches were worn and faded in color, the Galway furniture had fabric laid across it to cover the damag
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
Hallways are very warm and smell like chlorine.
Excellant space in room, room bed cofiguration, buffet breakfast, shuttle to Metro, great service by front desk. Hotel Employee at front desk helped me get details about the July 4th celebration in Washington DC...
The comfort of the bed
The room wreaked of cat urine. No other rooms were available and no concessions were offered.
Staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Clean hotel.
Breakfast was the same every morning. Pool doesnt open until 5:00 in the evening during the week, very disappointing to the kids.
Everything was excellent with this hotel.
The only negative thing is Mon. - Fri. the pool does not open until 5:00 p.m.
It was clean, the rooms were very spacious, and the breakfast was more than usual and even the coffee was good. The shuttle to the metro was also an added bonus.
Noisy at time because of school groups (not the hotel's fault, but still, not the nicest part of being there)...
Nice room and lots of space for our family of four
Asked for extra towels for the room for length of trip and did not receive. Had to ask front desk for additional towel sets.
The friendly staffs
Noise from another room
I like the overall Springhill Suites experience. The room layout and the public spaces were good.
Noise - not very soundproofed - and a stain on the couch.
Front desk staff was very friendly, and their shuttle bus was very convenience.
The breakfast wasn't good. Food ran out so fast and took forever to refill.
location, price, breakfast, staff
HUGE AMOUNT OF FOOT TRAFFIC. I stayed for two weeks for work and it seemed to be the place to stay for kids on school field trips. High foot traffic = a lot of noise.
Location, breakfast, room appeared clean staff shuttle
I woke up with bed bugs...I had to go to emergency...priceline needs to review these damn hotels..I hate priceline
My wife and kids left because there was nothing to do at the Hotel because the pool was closed during the day. Also @ 9:00 pm when we came back from the pool in the evening and my children, wife, and myself were changing into dry clothes we received a call from the front desk stating that the downstairs guest complained that we were making to much noise. The call came to our room just as soon as we got into our room.
Our family had a great experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and bright, the staff was extremly helpful and the breakfasts were very good. The staff was cheerful and worked hard to accomidate our needs. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay there again.
The first thing this hotel needs is a front desk staff that wants to be there and has a clue how to do their job. Start with the incorrect room type and very put out to change room. Lobby coffee service not maintained. Return to hotel to find beds stripped and towels piled on the floor ( we didn't know you were still here) our suitcases piled in the closet. Kids group running around knocking on doors and yelling we are told ' we cant do anything about it' Sister property next door( Holiday Inn Express) forgot to order food so add 100+ for breakfast. Hopefully Marriott inspectors and the management company will hire a general manager with a quality background to train a staff or expect an unpleasant stay
This was a really new hotel when I stayed there. They didn't even have alarm clocks in the rooms yet and when I asked for one, they told me they would send one up but never did. I'm the kind of person who needs to look at an alarm clock throughout the night, so not very restful (as restful as it gets). The staff was very friendly, they just didn't follow through to my satisfaction and there was a bit of an English language barrier with the night staff. The hotel decor was awesome and it was a new hotel with free parking. It was a little far from the Pentagon but an easy commute otherwise. Food was within a mile or two on the same road. When they get up and running it will likely be a great place to stay. It sits in the same parking lot as the Holiday Inn Express.
