Pros: I enjoyed getting off the plane.
Cons: Baggage counter didn't open until after we were there for a half hour meanwhile we're instructed to be there 2 hours before the flight. Seats were uncomfortable, only reclined back maybe an inch and my knees were touching the seat in front of me (I'm 5'-9"). The TSA agent made me check a carry on bag ($35) that I've never had to check anywhere else in the country (I fly 10-20 times per year). After returning to the line (TSA agent made us late for boarding) I voiced my displeasure. Another TSA agent allowed us to go around and cut the line which was nice of him. However the original TSA agent that made us check the carry on and who I voiced my displeasure to, decided to be unprofessional and inappropriate. Because he didn't like me voicing my displeasure he tried to force us to the end of the line to wait longer and possibly miss our flight. However the other TSA agent was more professional and allowed us to cut the line. Also interestingly noted by my fiance, when directing us to unnecessarily check the carry on he could hardly speak English. However when he was acting like a jerk and trying to put us at the end of the line he miraculously could speak perfecting English. I would like my $35 bag fee refunded and the TSA agent appropriately disciplined. At this point I will not fly American again. Respectfully submitted, Gary McCarthy 508-216-3664.
