Also, Angers Cathedral and Musee Jean Lurat et de la Tapisserie Contemporaine are within a short drive.
Hotel staff most welcoming.
Traffic noise in morning.
Conveniently situated for a one night stop and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Room rather small and breakfast minimal.
The two ladies on reception couldn't have been more charming and helpful, particularly as I spoke little French.
Not a compaint but ecologically, why use those individually packaged jams and butters?
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice continental breakfast.
The location was very good. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would stay there again.
It could be a little bit difficult to find except we searched on google earth before we started our holiday and were aware of its location and one way street systems.
Very friendly & helpful staff who spoke good english & had good knowledge of area. Location good - near train station and city centre. Hotel has lift to upper floors.
charming room, clean, great location between station and city
Friendly personell. Ok room, as expected for the price.
Very friendly staff, breakfast was wonderful if you choose to eat there. No hassles at this hotel - good location close to the train station and area restaurants.
Good assistance and welcoming to English travellers. Excellent inside for its star-rating. Staff very polite and helpful. The continental breakfasts were an excellent started to the day. We really enjoyed our stay with them. Thankyou! Based on our experience we heartily recommend this hotel as a base for visiting Angers.
Small point, we were reluctant to use the 'emergency' telephone number (as advised on the reception door) on our arrival from the airport - we happened to arrive during a public holiday and an early-afternoon siesta time. (If we had known, we would have phoned in the morning to inform of our arrival time.) Unfortunately, in England, we are not used to such siestas!
