Cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly men and women responsible for cleaning the rooms.
Two out the three front desk staff I encountered were rather dour and unpleasant. This is a a problem, particularly considering many of the guests are University of Michigan Hospital patients and their families who don't need to deal with this.Overall, very good, cost effective with nice rooms. Could be even better with friendlier front desk help.
The cleanliness and the hotel staffingWould definitely stay here again!
Location, price, cleanliness, comfort.
Insufficient lighting. The only lighting was overhead, with no bedside lights for reading. This hotel has all the comfort at half the price of its nearby competitors. My only complaint was inadequate lighting, which I could live with. Most people read on electronic devices these days, anyway. I love this hotel!
the spacious room, clean
the rooms are pre assigned so it took a while to change the room, breakfast is cold, not tasty at allthis hotel is a good location, very close to umich. the rooms are pre assigned so changing a room took a while, but i got a free upgrade, so that is good. the room is spacious and clean. not much noise at all. the breakfast is quite poor, only cold, and all carbs.
Only good thing I can say is it was close to University of Michigan and clean. Staff was not great.
Staff was uninformed, maybe not trained correctly, tried to overcharge me by $50 and also called me and told me I had to be out of the room when I had made reservations for three more days after that. Breakfast was terrible. Lots of noise from the highwayIf you are looking for bare minimum, this is the place to be. Breakfast does NOT include yogurt or peanut butter as stated on the website. The only choices were bagels or pastries. If you are diabetic or need to eat protein in the morning like me, pack your own breakfast or plan on going somewhere to eat something. Bring ear plugs with you if you want to sleep. There is a lot of noise from the traffic of the highway that is right next to the hotel. No satellite TV as stated in the website. After our first night at the hotel (we booked from Monday-Friday) we got a phone call on Tuesday at 12:20 as...
The motel was the cleanest motel I have ever been in.
Staff when we checked in seemed bothered. Also, she gave us misinformation about the location of our roomThe GPS sent us to a side street, which made finding the property difficult. It can be accessed from the main road, Plymouth. (look for the very small signs for this hotel and the Holiday Inn) The property is in a great location if you are visiting someone who lives on North Campus at U of M. The rooms are on the small side, but are clean and bright. The bed was OK; the pillows were good. Breakfast ends at 9:30, but there was coffee in the machine till later. We would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone.
The amenities in the room and quality of the beds
all hotels have this: the down-like comforter. It's way too hot and heavy. I need to completely remake the beds with only 2 sheets or a regular blanket if I can get one.Very pleased - did not expect the quality based on price & star rating
It looked new and very clean and updated.
I couldn't hear my neighbors talk and such but I didn't care to hear the plumbing with every flushing or sound of water running though the noise was somewhat muffled.Besides those minor flaws, it was a modern, new and very comfortable motel. It was a good deal for a business visit and very close to the downtown.
