Shuttle service to metro was lacking had two call twice 1 day with no show had to catch other hotel shuttle to get back. Buses kept breaking down so did not know which vehicle was mine and no marking on shuttle. Was told that shuttle would drop me off close destination twice but was dropped off at metro, had to buy another card to get to destination.
The room I got was pretty big. The furnitures were not the most stylish, but comfortable enough. They have shuttles to the airport and the Metro station, which is very convenient (but not 24/7, so check the schedule). Location is also convenient, close to a good number of casual restaurants.
The shuttle tracking website is useless. Marriott shuttles at the airport has "north loop" and "south loop" that go to different hotels -- very confusing and not correctly shown on the tracking bus. I ended up waiting for more than half an hour for the correct shuttle. I recommend calling the hotel for actual shuttle arrival time, and make sure to verify the destination with the driver before boarding.
The pool was very cold. The in-hotel food options were pretty limited.
When I arrived at the Southwest terminal, it was a little confusing figuring out where to pick up the airport shuttle. But after that, the shuttles (especially the Metro shuttles) were fantastic. Very reliable. Overall, the staff was extremely friendly/helpful.
No channel guide for the TVs. Inexcusable. You'd think that Marriott mgt would be smart enough to have the GUIDE button on the remote controls actually bring up a current guide/schedule, but I guess furnishing a channel list (even on a laminated sheet of paper) is just too complicated. Water in the pool was a bit cold.
Great location close to DCA and 3 Metro stops from L'Enfant Plaza.
No early morning shuttle to Metro stop as shuttle driver "didn't get his e-mail" and didn't show up on the holiday -- no back-up ! Only 1 elevator (of 3) functioning was completely inadequate for full hotel AND staff use -- especially for the morning rush. $27 per night to park !
Transportation services were readily available. Staff was friendly and courteous even though we were not business clients. Parking was made available to us before and after our room was ready using a hotel token. Very helpful since we were visiting DC.
Check in was tougher than expected because a request for a certain room was on reservation (not sure how this happened). Room still was unavailable the second time we tried to check in at 4:00. Once staff realized there was a hold on room, it was explained to me. I removed the hold and we quickly had a room.

Shuttle to airport didn't start until 5am. Not helpful when your flight is at 5:30am and you need to be at the airport by 3 or 3:30am. Also, had to drop off rental car at airport (Reagan) the night before and the hotel shuttle stopped at 8:25pm. *Also, reserved 3 rooms. When arrived we were on 3 different floors. Not a huge deal, but would have been nice to at least be on the same floor.
Rooms were clean, felt safe at all times in hotel.Staff was polite
We couldn't check into our rooms until 4:30 p.m. Our party of 7 (3 rooms) were a bit put off by that.
A short 5 minute shuttle ride to the Terminal. Easy access to the hotel from Highway 1 Northbound.
Didn't like having to get up at 4:30 AM to catch my plane!!!
Very close to airport. Offered shuttle to Metro and airport. Staff accommodating and professional. Very clean in hotel and room. Has a restaurant and serves Starbucks.
Restaurant and Starbucks not opened in afternoon, for lunch.
