people were friendly and efficient
Due to a family problem in the uk we had to leave a day earlier. The recepionist said that we would be reimburse for the one night.we are still wating for this payment from Hotel Europa in Canet
The air con in the room was a bonus despite it being a bit noisy it was invaluable as the room would've been very warm.
Breakfast was only ok,it's difficult to produce a decent meal using the buffet system. However I've had worse at more expensive hotels. The extortionate prices of beers, both bottled & draught, were unbelievable had I not just driven for 5 hours and really needed a "pick me up" I would have spent nothing at the bar. Whilst I appreciate hotels charge more at the bar than a pub £4.50 for a bottle of London Pride is, quite frankly, unacceptable !
Overnight travel stop only. Hotel OK but expensive so will switch to etap or the new ACE chain in future
It is expensive for what it is.
The hotel is ideally situated for a night stop on the way to the Dordogne. The staff were helpful and friendly and the quality of the food was good. The rooms are basic but provided for a reasonable night sleep...the fan was necessary to cool the room. The car park gate was shut overnight and the car park was well lit.
The size of the room, also the bathroom was a good size with a proper bath with shower facility, the private view from the window and over the fields.
A small item but since you asked, the toilet seat design, clear plastic with fish design, as soon as I saw it I did`nt like it, maybe other people would like it.
