breakfast was great and room was great
all was better than expected
Comfort in was not one of the listed potential hotels
Clean and comfortable
A little hard to find.
The beds were very comfortable, good mattress. Very good flat screen TV with several channels to choose from. The breakfast was excellent. All staff was very courteous and friendly.
I bought discounted ticket for biltmore estate from the guy. Breakfast was good.
Price i have to say nearly ---- is overpriced.
The room was fine for the price, and the girls at the front desk were nice.
The housekeeping staff stole my girlfriend's diamond ear rings. She knocked the off the nightstand by accident, and left the room without picking them up. She realized one hour later when she got home, but the staff said they never saw them.
Room was MUCH bigger than I expected. A very welcome surprise!
The hotel has been newly renovated. It is removed from the interstate highway annd the rooms are extremely quiet. The price was a real bargain.
Not a thing.
Recently renovated. Everything was very clean. Staff was very helpful.
Fitness center could have been a little larger.
Clean, close to area of interest, price was good, restaurants close ,room was on back of motel and was quiet. Surprised to find laundry available. Enjoyed breakfast. Very pleased with hotel.
Easy on and off and location in West Asheville.
No hot tub.
This hotel was newly renovated and felt very clean!
Near the interstate, free breakfast, clean
A little noisy, breakfast wasn't great but it was free.
Close to the interstate and not far from the downtown area.
The hotel is outdated and looks dirty. The staff are loud and rushed to squeeze in the elevator with all their equipment several times during our stay. They couldn't give us a smoke free room and the room had an overwhelming smell. Cigg burns everywhere!
Breakfast is a plus.
the coffee is really bad! Bedding sheet and blanked is too old and appears dirty, air conditioning fan is loud, the closet door is about falling
Room smelled moldy ... We sprayed the room but the smell wouldn't leave..
Was clean, friendly clerk,good breakfast.
Wall paper and carpet showed a lot of wear but it was clean.
It was near my son's home and they allowed pets.
Only one person on the front desk to handle check-in, check-out and answer the phone. I have stayed in many hotels in Asheville, I know that hotels in Asheville are expensive but this one was not a good value even with the Priceline discount.
This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. Rooms were not clean. Outside doors were broken. And to top it off, the place smelled. I got an e-mail from Comfort Inn, asking me to rate the place. They latter called and offered to give me back ½ of my money, but I never hear from them again. Still no money and they will not answer my e-mails.
This hotel had large clean rooms with free WIFI. The king size bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. Located next door to a Cracker Barrel was great as well. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed for two nights recently while in town to visit family. Our king sized room reserved faced a ''really ugly wall''. (the desk clerks words, not mine so we upgraded to a non smoking king suite that faced the parking lot. There were cigarette burns on the bathroom counters. The lighting was dim in the bathroom, with no exhaust fan that I could sense. Several times during our stay we had the very distinct smell of smoke in our room, once at 4 am. The staff stand directly at the front entrance smoking and literally put out their cigarettes to go inside and check you in. That being said.. the staff was VERY friendly and tried to accomodate our need for extra pillows and towels. The pillows here are TINY!! We had a king bed with four TINY pillows....some were feather, some not. Our room was quiet, the breakfast area a bit crowded and upon checkin still had the remains of the previous groups crumbs on the floor. The entrance is dingy, carpet in disprepair. It would be nice with a bit of upgrade and effort. There was a young lady outside in the parking lot at one period of time with her bags. We left for dinner and several hours later returned, and she was still sitting there, smoking cigarettes, in the shrubbery.
Front desk staff rarely there but often out front smoking; personal hygiene poor w/staff sporting wet hair, chipped nail polish, unkept and not professional looking. Continental breakfast removed 5-10 mins. prior to time limit. We had to extend our stay by 2 nights and the Friday night rate almost doubled over weekday rate, but staff didn't alert us to that when we requested the extension, so we were shocked when we checked out. Hotel is in a bad location and hard to find.
Lovely hotel, but not close and convenient to the Asheville area, particularly as there was construction on I 40.
