It was small, old, dirty, mold on the walls and ceiling and way too expensive for the quality.I will never stay here again. We almost left when we saw the room but it was late and non refundable and we were hours away from home.
Location had easy access to interstates.
Room was dirty and in disrepairHow good is a 1 star hotel? Well, there is no such thing as a 0 star hotel. The smell of cigarettes was overwhelming, even for a smoker. Carpet- dark color to hide the dirt and sticky in places, Sheets- thread bare in places, Blankets- burn holes and could have been used as a luffa, Chairs- stained, Comforters- busy pattern and I didn't dare look too closely at these. They gave me a smoking room and the ceiling had many areas of nicotine staining. Walls had been damaged and not repaired along with some sort of liquid spilled on them in several places. Bathroom door held together with drywall screws. I was waiting for 'Dateline NBC' to come through with a black light but fortunately for me this didn't happen. I also had to remove three large beetle type insects that were crawling on the ceiling. The price was cheap and I have never stayed anywhere like this before so I don...
Room smelled abandon n like they sprayed something try make it smell better
Somewhat dirty room, bugs/spiders webs, dingy, wet pet and smoke smell even though it was a non smoking room. Sat on top of bed, found fleas on my legs. requested new room. New room was equally dirty, some bugs, and bad smell.Very poor review for the reasons listed above. I contacted priceline to request a refund. They investigated and sent me an e-mail stating that $61.37 will be refunded to me. The total price that I paid was XXX or why the amount XXX was decided upon. Ultimately this was a bad experience and even though I understand that this is no fault of priceline I feel that efforts made on the part of priceline to compensate me were also poor/unsatisfactory. I will probably not use priceline again for booking hotels
The key cars when they worked.
well the room had a weird odor to it. Every now and then the key cards would work, I had to go to the front counter to get them reactivated if away for some time. The parking spaces should be a litle bit wider for acommodating larger vehicles.I personally would not recommend hotel it was not very modern, I felt that there were a lot of undesirables that resided at the hotel is well. It was just not too suitable for me.
Front desk was pleasant
Our room was absolutely filthy and because the hotel was booked there was nothing that could be done. I slept with my own blanket on top of the bed and covered my pillow with a towel. The smell of smoke was over powering. The shower had hair in it :(Very dirty on the 3 rd floor. The smell was horrendous, the bedding had holes and the shower had hair in it and a used bar if soap. The front desk was friendly but I would never stay here again.
Dirty hallway and stairs. Overall room/bathroom felt dirty.I didn't mind the hotel was old and in disrepair, but even a one start hotel should be clean.
Checking out.Asheville hotels are ridiculously expensive. The Rodeway Inn reeked of cigarettes, the whole third floor. For XXX, you get a one star wonder in Asheville. I stayed in Roanoke, VA the previous weekend and Pricelined the Sleep Inn (**) for XXX. The room had two areas, one for sleeping with two beds, and one room with couch, chair, business desk. Two flat screen TVs and two bathrooms. Sleep Inn also had full breakfast, eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, etc. Rodeway Inn had juice and donuts. Air conditioning was non existant. Never really fell into a deep sleep as the room was so hot. Even a sheet over your legs was too hot. There is one set of steps at the end of the building for all three floors.
