Customer service was excellent. Super friendly and made us feel at home.
The complementary breakfast was a joke. All they had was waffles. Would of loved to see more options and selections for the price I paid for my stay there.
The power was out from the time we arrived at 4:30 pm to the time we had to leave three hours later. The owner kept saying the Power Company was coming, but they never did. He also kept saying the power never went off before, but he has his own generator
The owner seemed nice and the TV was good. There was a fridge in the room and the room was clean. They supplied us extra pillows upon request.
The window didn't open, the shower head looked like a pipe coming out of the wall. The room was stuffy even though I left the fan on during the day. The continental breakfast wasn't good. The coffee was good.
Very convenient---just off the freeway. Price is moderate.
The sink had several 1/4 inch knicks out of the porcelain which gave the appearance that the sink was dirty (which it wasn't). They should replace the sink (room 228). An elevator instead of having to lug our luggage upstairs would be nice.
The pool is lovely, and it was convenient to the city of Ashland without being in the middle of town. Easy freeway access.
Were placed in a room with a strong, unpleasant odor. Were told it was because we checked in late and that was the only room left. Priceline reservations early and paid up front, so felt we should have had a good room waiting for us.
It was close to the highway and easy to get to and from. It was also quiet.
I knew that I had reserved a room at one of the less popular hotels, but after reading the reviews on-line I thought I had made the right decision. After checking-in and getting the room, I was shocked at how dirty the carpet was. The whole room had a foul odor and looked like a cheap motel room. The cost of the room certainly wouldn't be considered cheap. Overall, I was disappointed with this hotel and would not return if the situation arose again in the future.
This accommodation was pleasant and ordinary, but a 10 star bargain in this over-priced town!! It was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly I will definitely stay there again!!
. The rooms here were absolutely filthy. The box springs were stained & had 'Courtyard by Marriott' on them so this place must have purchased old mattresses. They were stained & not even covered with dust ruffles. There were stains on the curtains that looked like dried blood. Disgusting! Should have trusted web 1 star review instead of travelers reviews.
This turned out to be the perfect place for us to stay especially for the price. We only needed a room for one night to break up our long driving trip. The room was very clean, it was quiet, the front desk was helpful and they allowed our dog! We would definitely stay again.
Best price in town! Very, very clean. The entire facility has been recently remodeled and is spotless. The room was a tad small but all fixtures, furniture and appliances were new and very well maintained. It was quiet and conveniently located in Ashland. Free Wi-Fi internet! Good coffee to boot! I highly recommend this Econo Lodge.
I came down from Seattle Wa. the staff where very friendly, and helpful. the room was very cleanand there prices where very good. I would tell anyone to stop there.
I needed a financially reasonable place to stay for a week while looking for an apartment for my daughter. We had a lot of luggage plus a Yorkie dog. Our room was large, with a fridge and microwave, a view of the Ashland hillside and a green meadow next door to walk the dog. Complimentary breakfast was good, was served in a separate cheery breakfast room and always included some fresh fruit. Hotel is family-run. they were available, friendly and responsive. I noticed a lot of campers and bike-riders seem to use the hotel for a few nights. It reminded me a little bit of small inns in Italy or France where attention to detail makes all the difference.
This hotel was convenient and a good value for the money. I'd stay there again.
