If you are going to see the Braves play in Atlanta and stay over night, the location is perfect. The hotel is located next to some of the parking lots. It was clean. Staff was helpful and courteous. Felt safe with my 6 six year old.
There was nothing terribly wrong with the hotel. It's just average. If your not expecting brand new updates and great amenities you will be happy with your stay. Food from onsite restaurant not great, overpriced, and not really any other options to walk too.
I really liked the location, right off the interstate so I did not have to travel far into downtown to try to find it. This is also 2 blocks from Turner Field so if you're in town for a ball game this will probably be a very convienent location. Rooms were fairly clean but you can tell they are doing some cosmetic work to the place.
The elevators are very small and there are only 4 so waiting for one is pretty time consuming. They also have a shuttle service which will take you to any attraction within 3 miles. Sounds great until you find out its a single mini van that only holds 6 people. If you and your party can not fit in that one van you either have to find a cab, walk or wait 30 min for it to return. Though I think its a great service, I think they should let you know at the desk that space is VERY limited and not to count on it as your main mode of transperation.
I liked the friendly staff. They seemed to really enjoy interacting with the customers. The nice beds were a nice change from the lumps they call mattresses at other hotels. The Shower was nice and strong, and the water stayed hot. The free parking was legit, and the shuttle went right to our destination, and picked us promptly up. This wasn't the fanciest place, but it was nice and had a friendly atmosphere, which for the price was more than I expected. The Price Didn't seem to mind us blazing.
The sort of snippy Front Desk Clerk, really short. The elevators were Sloooooooooooow The Restaurant was expensive, and the breakfast did not look like it was worth it.
Did not get maid service one day. Vending and coffee overpriced.
Great location for walking to Turner Field. Clean, comfortable rooms.
Hotel totally slammed by lots of people checking in near same time for Braves game. Housekeeping still had not cleaned enough rooms by 5:30 to get rooms assigned to the hundreds who were waiting. Staff took way too long to recognize deteriorating situation and explain/communicate to crowd. Even late into the night, hotel seemed to have poor idea of who was assigned to what room, sending people to rooms that had already been assigned.
I chose it for the location, it was close to where I needed to be. Also, they had a shuttle service that allowed me to avoid driving in "Brave's game" traffic!
it was cheap with good staff
the Design of the hotel was poor
Could have been cleaner. The bar and restaurant weren't very good at all.
The staff was very nice , helpful and courteous. Location was very convienent to all the surrounding areas and easy access to the interstate.
The room appeared to be old. You could tell there was boarder around the top of the wall and that it was ripped down with the remnants still on the wall. The vent in the bathroom was covered with a thick layer of dirt, dust, and crud. The room's temperature was set on 85 upon entry, not a big deal
Staff were friendly and willing to help. Was a little hard to get around from this location.
