This old crumbling hotel is just plain horrible. I got burglarized...owner didn't care. I had someone call me at 4 am to try to get my credit card number and address...and it was through the switchboard! The guy at the front desk just shrugged. Do NOT stay here!
My first room had mold in the bathroom but they quickly gave me another room and the rooms are nice. The only drawback was was the billing. I had already prepaid my stay, but the hotel charged me again and the only response I was getting was that it will be refunded in 7-10 business days. I had to call corp. office to intervene and they said the hotel still had 48 hours to answer the situation. Needless to say this interfered with my trip I was going on two days after this one because my money was held up. Also, I didn't care for their so call free breakfast.
I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Expresses and I would have to say I found this one quite disappointing. It seems old and a bit run-down. It had a strange smell to it and just did not seem very clean. The work-out room was quite dissapointing with two old pieces of equipment. This property does not live up to the Holiday Inn Express usual standards and was rather expensive.
Great Location and great Value! Only complaint, which is not a big deal, is that the water heater takes about 10 minutes literally to heat up but other than that, you cant complain! Also VERY close to Buckhead's finest diners/restaurants
Great hotel. It's in a very convenient location, the staff were friendly, and the hotel room was clean and in great condition. I highly recommend this hotel.
The room was very spacious, but very outdated. It looked like it had not been updated since the 80's. The room also had a funky smell.
Great Value!!!!!!! I checked thoughout Atlanta & this was the largest room- 2Bdrm- for the money. Suite with full Frig and Stove etc The people there were very nice. I cannot wait to return
Even though the hotel was a bit far away with only one farily expensive restaurant nearby, I would choose it again. A rental car is a must if one wants to go out and have dinner within close proximity. Breakfast was very good, with hot and cold items. Rooms were large, bathrooms a bit dated.
having stayed at a number of the EXPRESS catgory, i was expecting average to good, but this property was excellent or very good in all respects.
Everything was perfect except for the housekeeper who didn't understand when we told her we didn't want service during the day when we were in the hotel. The kitchen and living area was nice as was the bathroom. Would definitely stay again.
The hotel is nice and well situaded but the room was a smoking room. The suite was nice and big but the TOBACCO SMELL was FOUL, and TOTALLY UNHEALTHY . Travel online did not inform about that, did not provided a chose of non-smoking. Once at the hotel, the recepcionist, refused to change the room for a non-smoking one. He said the hotel was full, when it was not true.
The rooms were very clean. I was glad they still had smoking suites available. Will stay again
This was a decent place to stay. The suite style room worked well for us, with two small children. We had enough room and were comfortable during our stay. \nI would however suggest that the hotel work a little more on their customer service skills.\nWe got the 'bum's rush' out of our room at check-out time. As a family with two small children it takes us some time to load our vehicle. As we were departing the room the housekeeping staff showed up and began to clean the room. This included removing our stuff from the room, when the maid picked up my purse I was uncomfortable to say the least.\nI reported the experience to the desk and received not much of a response. I suppose the fact that we were departing guest, they didn't feel compelled to respond to my issue.\nI thought that most businesses were built upon repeat customers...I'm not sure we would stay here again.\n
We stayed here last summer, and our stay this year was not quite as pleasant. Batteries were missing from TV remote, and alarm clock was missing. We requested linens for fold-out sofa and had to go get them ourselves from the desk. When we returned to the room, we realized they'd only given us 1 sheet and 6 pillowcases! Front desk service needs improvement!
If you travel with pets, beware. This hotel does not list its ''pet policy'' in the lobby (they have a sign that says ''Pet policy in effect'')... what this means is that if you have a dog under 25 pounds, they will charge you $150 at the end of your stay, and over 25 pounds, $250! Clearly, they try to sneak this charge in, because if it were stated, who on earth would pay that? There is a vet clinic a couple of doors down that you could board your pet at.
average hotel, comfortable beds, plenty of space. Breakfast is ok but shuttles only work at certain times. No elevators. 3 sets of stairs with luggage!
I booked a room for 2 adults and 2 kids. there were 5 pillows in the room and only 2 bath towels. I got 2 more towels but they ''said'' there were no more pillows. 1 pillopw per person is not enough.
