Front desk staff was accommodating.
Asked for a non- smoking room. Reeked of cigarettes. Had to pack up and move to a different room the next morning.
it was very clean everyone was super nice and helpful the food was great
noi would definately reccomend this hotel it was great i really liked the bed and the whole room was great.
I thought that the central a/c and heating definitely provides a quite and stable room temperature. Clean room and bathroom are pluses for me. The room is very spacious.
The TV is CRT and not flat screen. The Showboat provides a room that is top notch for a fantastic price. The only surprise is the amount of fees and taxes that is added on to the bill.
The door was thin and other guests yelling in the hallway woke me up in the middle of the night.
We liked the location.
It took forever to check in. The line was soo long and there were only 4 people working the desk, two of whih were only designated to help diamond and platinum members. This was the only thing negative about our stay.
Nothing in particular.Rooms: On the surface the rooms appear clean and pleasant enough, but 1 of the 4 people I was with got attacked by bed bugs. There is no ventilation in the bathroom. And its 2013, can I get a flat screen TV? No lie, there was a Zenith in the room. $2 for a 20oz bottle of water from the vending machine seems a bit a pricey but hey I'm in a hotel I get it. What I don't get is that it wasn't a 20oz bottle of water for $2, it was 8oz for $2. Food: Earl of Sandwich - pretty tasty and reasonably priced. Open 24/7 so you can't beat that. However, I counted 5 employees to about 8 customers and had to wait more than 20 minutes for a turkey sandwich. Johnny Rockets - 50's style diner. Same problem; with the amount of people working there I should not have waited so long for a burger and fries. And don't order a milkshake unless you have an hour to kill. BTW if you like your burger cooked medium you better ask for rare. Crossroads - Ju...
Nice room, good location
1) Needs an indoor pool. 2) Free breakfast was not Free! they only comped us $20 on a $40 breakfast. Hard to eat for $20 at House of Blues Atlantic City. And nowhere on confirmation or in your pages does it say Free Breakfast is limited to $20.
Located on the boardwalk.
The Starbucks was closed.Clean room and air worked well.
location was great, cheap parking
n/aAnyone who gave this star low ratings clearly is a moron. 10 dollars a nite for parking, not bad at all (5 dollars I think for gold members). Yea there is a hotel fee, but it wasn't even as bad as I expected (5 a night or something). It's in a central location, right on the boardwalk, near tons of restaurants. Oh and it's attached to a casino (I don't gamble lol). Overall great :)
