The location, the room was lovely looking.
The room temp at night was too warm. The attempt at a dining facility was a joke. Many of the offering on the menu sign were not available. The service was slow and the price was too high.
The Hotel Employee and the cleanliness of the room
No bath tub and whirlpool was cold
The Hotel Employee at the front desk was a super cheerful personality and started my mornings with a smile. She was probably the happiest person I've met in my life.
Accidentally got double charged at the end of the stay, but after some confusion they got it cleared up in less than a week.
staff was excellent especially Hotel Employee. she attended to all of our needs. went above and beyond...
hotel is being remodeled. lots of noise and distractions.
breakfast included--food was made to order and very good.
Room was not cleaned after first night stay. Called front desk for service & was told cleaning staff was leaving for the day. Asked for clean towels which were brought to room. Asked maid in hallway to clean room; said she would but did not do so.
This was our first trip to Austin and we were very pleased, as usual, with our Courtyard Marriott hotel experiences. We arrived very late and the Hotel Employee was very pleasant and helpful!
We did kill 3 centipedes in our room but when we reported it to the Hotel Employee the morning after our arrival there was not a problem after that.
The convenience of the in-house bistro was great. Very nice pool. Staff was excellent.
The bed linens were sour. Very hard to sleep with smell.
Clean very friendly staff
Heated pool in the middle of Texas summer.
Staff member came to room once and called regarding noise complaints. I was traveling with a 4 year old...Really???
Clean rooms and bathrooms. Quiet and little traffic. Free parking and internet
They had only one elevator
I really enjoyed this hotel, the front desk , bistro cafe, the kind lady cleaning the table and chairs on the outside patio were so nice, bed was comfortable even pillows were perfect, the red/yellow in my room , was very pleasant. Nice & Clean!!
Only thing I didn't like was when it was time to leave, I didn't want to !!
I loved the indoor pool, they did have a little incident I feel the staff handled the situation amazingly, calmly and professional.
parking, when I can in at night there was literally two spots and other customer parts so awful no one could use them and again nothing the hotel could have done.
The staff was very friendly. The room was large and there was pleanty of space.
The location was farther than we would have liked to Central Austin.
Clean, nice finishes, great staff.
Hot Water/pressure troubles :(
Very friendly staff!
The location can be confusing to navigate but is very well located in the city.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was also very well maintained.
There wasn't anything I didn't like...well except for having to leave.
room was NOT cleaned or straightened on 12/27. only compensation was 2 water bottles that came with coffee. Also, no indoor pool available. (access to nearby motel outdoor pool-- not acceptable in 45 degree weather!)
Very clean, great staff, excellent location
No fridge or microwave, no fan in bathroom, not enough lights
I did not like the fact that I paid for a room with queen beds and it turned out to be full size beds. The pillows were very uncomfortable.
Nothing the hotel was in a terrible location and the stuff was not friendly at all. Parking lot was way to small had to park at another hotel and walk to ours. I will never go back to this hotel again.
Everything the hotel was in a terrible location and the stuff was not friendly at all. Parking lot was way to small had to park at another hotel and walk to ours. I will never go back to this hotel again.
Clean, Location and staff.
Room too small. bed not that comfortable.
Breakfast area; it is not free, but they are courteous and quick
Hotel shower wall was coming away from wall; they didn't service my room one day
Inviting lobby area.
Long black hair in bathtub. Elevator made a loud grinding noise when it opened on my floor and it was next to my room. The lids to the coffee cups did not fit.
The location and the price.
The hallways were not all that clean, especially downstairs by the elevator. Everything else was fine, though.
Yes. The hotel being 3.5 stars did not have basic amenities like refrigerator. We complained hotel and no one picked up the call. Would not recommend the hotel.
I liked the breakfast bar, it was not included but it was of great quality.
We had the room right in top of the hotel entrance door and by the elevator, so the clicking noise bothered me a lot. we had to ask to change room and the next night was good
Clean and friendly (second location)
I book at one hotel and at time of check in I was told they were booked. They sent me to another hotel 15 minutes away. In a not so good area.
Walls very thin, even more so than cheap hotels. AC and fridge did not work well.
When we arrived at 4pm, we had to wait about 30 minutes for our room. We were clearly waiting in the lobby and others were getting their rooms. We had to go back and the clerk had to get help to get us a room. After our 2nd night, the room was never cleaned.
Majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I did come across 2 ladies working one day who seemed inexperienced.
I had just stayed at a Courtyard the night before this three-night stay. This hotel rooms were not quite as nice, no fridge and furnishing seemed not as up-to date. There also was no ice water in the lobby for guests, that I really enjoy!
Good Location in Austin
Hotel Could not provide us with a Double beds
Good location. Clean.
Marginal rooms. A 2.5 star at best. An embarrassment to Marriot.
Front desk staff was very friendly.
Parking was a bit of an issue.
staff and location
leak in bathroom was not fixed. thought it was a 2 1/2 star room.
IT WAS CLEAN AND BIG ROOM.
STAFF WAS NOT VERY HELPFUL. HEATER DIDNT WORK AND TO CHANGE ROOMS. BREAKFAST WAS AL LA CARTE.
The front desk clerk was very polite.
The hotel smelled horrible in all the common areas. It was especially bad in the hallways. The bathtub made noise when you walked in it. There was painted plywood covered part of the walls in the hallway. The room decor was outdated.
I paid and reserved for a king size room. When my husband and I showed up on what was supposed to be our honeymoon, we were given a room with 2 double beds
The beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have slept in. I have had to go to the chiropractor for my back since sleeping at this hotel.
Great location, nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff and good selection of foods in the morning.
The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Despite the lobby being in the midst of a renovation, the staff were helpful, cheerful, friendly, and able to manage check-in and check-out without delay. The location was perfect for this particular Austin visit, convenient to the places I needed to visit, with easy access to the major highways, but away from the worst of the highway noise.
It was a basic, boring hotel. It was a decent place to stay.
Staying here for Lavacon 2011, even though it's a bit north of downtown. Comfy, quiet. Bit odd that the front doors aren't automatic, since there's no bellboy and you need to bring in your luggage cart yourself. A bit awkward... But in the end not such a big deal.
Free internet, white duvets, small store for sundries in the lobby, $3 beers at 5pm, buffet breakfast, shopping across street, friendly staff and above all clean with pleasant decor.
