Staff was excellent, room was clean, bed was comfortable, wi-fi was strong.
Would have liked to have a mini-fridge in room. Hotel was overrun by high school children. They were loud, and made simple things like using the elevators/ice machine miserable. I fully understand that this was not the Hotel's fault.
room size and bed
I didn't like paying an additional $23 to park at the hotel. No mini fridge and no microwaves in the rooms. I did not like paying $3.50 for bottled water in the room. No exhaust fan in the bath room. Very hard water.
The staff were very quick to help with anything we needed. After searching the vending machines on our floor and those above and below us for bottled water, we called down to the front desk to ask where we could find some to purchase, and they immediately had four bottles sent up at no charge, which arrived quicker than I'd have thought the elevators would allow.
The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. I have back problems, and the bed, though a pillowtop, had springs that were easily felt through the mattress top. The pillows were fine down, but far too soft to provide any support--though I'll be the first to admit, I'm picky about my pillows.
The butt sniffers at the front desk wouldn't allow me to check in since I am only 20 and 10 months (not 21), even though it was prepaid and they had my card on file. I had to get a friend to come cosign the room with me to be able to claim it... Total ridiculousness and they could have been more accommodating.
Terribly loud street music till midnight. Very thin walls.
Loved the room and how clean it is. The breakfast buffet was great. Parking could be a little cheaper...but overall it's a great hotel .
Vents in the bathroom would be nice. But everything was really great.
The pool service took too long for drinks
The hotel room that we stayed in is so outdated.
THe helpfulness of the staff
The parking garage has narrow turns...I was in an SUV
very close to the convention center in Austin. 10 min by walk
I payed the room 145eur and the breakfast was not included.
Location was perfect for the trip
There were excessive delays in availability of the room. Staff promises were not fulfilled until I pushed for an explanation in the delay. At that point, a room was 'unblocked' for my use.
Beds were great!!! Something you do not find often!!!
