Very nice and clean hotel. Good fitness center
It was seasonably cool in the area and they didn't turn the heat on in the public areas, such as lobby. In fact, I was going to eat at the Bistro in the lobby but was too chilly
Location and amenities
No shuttle service
Beds were comfy
Did not offer free breakfast
Room was clean and pool and hot tub were nice.
Housekeeping showed up at 8:00 AM, knocked once, and entered the room. Very unprofessional. We had trouble with the hot water. The water was luke warm at best and even cold at times. The problem was intermittent. I expected much more out of a Courtyard.
I LOVED THE SERVICE
The swimming pool
Located near restaurants and shops. Freeway close.
Refrigerator was not working.
No free breakfast
Residential area immediately behind the hotel. One of the residents was blasting music until late at night. It could be easily heard, and was quite annoying. Jacuzzi was broken. Staff at check in was not aware it was broken.
Fast check in. No wait
Room was nice & clean
Was very disappointed that I called for some toothpaste and was asked to come downstairs to get it myself.
Clean and quiet.
A rattling noise from behind the headboard and a non-working minifridge in the room.
Very clean room, clean sheets, nice lobby, loved that there was a Starbucks, and great staff.
My only thing would be no microwave :(
When I was checking out of the hotel I stepped on a needle in the lobby. It punctured my foot and I have still not heard a word from the hotel.
The service, staff was friendly. The room smelled nice everything was clean and in place.
Everything was awesome!
When I checked in the person behind the counter was slightly rude
Staff was outstanding. Bistro waiter was excellent.
Sink valve needs adjustment- minimal hot water coming out of tap.Top drawer under TV needs adjustment- difficult to open/close.
The staff was very attentive, not in an annoying way, just ready and willing to help right away.
There was nothing I can complain about.
Clean room, quiet and peaceful. The pool was great as was the staff, and there's a Starbucks in the lobby!
The immediate surrounding area is nice, but drive a block or two down, especially at night, and it definitely did not feel like the safest.
The staff. Very friendly, professional and really tried to help when something does go wrong!
Nothing. Ok, maybe if there's free breakfast! ; )
Nice clean rooms, good bed, free parking
Wifi is too slow and pretty much useless, no free breakfast, parking lot is quite full at night
The location was perfect for our stay in the area.
Yes, the tub was not working properly. The water kept pooling in the tub even though it wasn't sealed.
Too far from downtown LA, because of the traffic. Knowing this now, I would have paid a bit more to stay closer in.
My wife has always praised Marriott hotels and this was my first. She was right. There is nothing else like it. Beautiful atmosphere, great rooms. Very professional and worth every dollar.
Hotel is only OK. Clean, adequate and quiet, no frills. However, we traveled for a family wedding. Got in very late (after midnight), expected to sleep in the next day and leisurely shower, dress, etc. for the 6 p.m. wedding in the afternoon. Imagine how shocked we were to find a notice telling us: ''to better serve us, the water would be turned off from 12-4 p.m.''! The notice indicated this was routine SCHEDULED maintenance. When I complained, there was no satisfaction or attempt to in some way compensate our extreme inconvenience. They also had no success with the hotel. When checking out, I again voiced our serious inconvenience and displeasure; this was met with minimum attention and again, no attempt to in any way compensate for it. Imagine charging over $/night and not providing water! Never again.
This was my first stay at this location. The hotel is easily seen on the north side of the San Bernardino freeway (Interstate 10). Getting from the freeway to the property was the challenge! If one approaches from the east, that is easy enough. However, I was coming from Los Angeles after dark. I got lost. Fortunately I had my cellphone with me and contacted the front desk for directions. It would have been easier had I brought a print-out of turn directions.\n\nOnce there, I was rewarded with the sort of property I expect of Marriott. I had a very comfortable double queen -bedded room on the top floor (Tenth). It was quiet and I slept well.\n\nOne service glitch: Next AM I found the statement of a guest from another room slipped under my door. I have no Idea what happened to my statementby turn
