LOCATION: Set in the heart of Barcelona, a stone's throw from the Ramblas and the Old Town and close to the cathedral and the Placa Catalunya, the Hotel Gaudi offers visitors a comfortable stay in Barcelona. The Hotel Gaudi is located in the heart of Barcelona, next to the Ramblas and the Barri Gotic (the Old Town), close to the cathedral, the Palau de la Generalitat and City Hall. Other places of interest to be found close to the hotel are the Picasso Museum, the Liceu opera house, the Port Vell harbour area and the Maremagnum centre (which play host to some of the city's leading leisure and nightlife areas), a few minutes' stroll from the hotel. There are bus and underground services available locally. HOTELFACILITIES: The Hotel Gaudi has been completely restored respecting its original architecture, with its vaulted entrance, which belonged to a former convent, and its hall, which has been given something of a modernista air to do justice to its name. The Hotel Gaudi takes its name from the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, who designed, amongst other famous buildings such as the Casa Mila (la Pedrera) and the Sagrada Familia, the Palau Guell, declared a World Heritage Site and located right opposite our hotel. The hotel has been managed by the current Director since 1970. As important as offering a comfortable, welcoming establishment is providing quality services. Breakfast is served in our restaurant between 7. 30 and 11. 00 a. m. allowing our guests to enjoy the buffet offered. The hotel's former kitchen has been restored and converted to offer this breakfast service. Our-cafe-restaurant, set alongside the hotel's reception, is open from 11. 30 in the morning to 12. 00 midnight, where you can lunch or dine in comfortable, relaxed surroundings. ROOMS: The Hotel Gaudi offers 73 rooms with all.
