This lovely Bed & Breakfast is a circa 1820 Federal-style home overlooking the Kennebec River in historic Bath, the City of Ships, and just a few blocks from the heart of town. A classic New England house, it features an elegant double staircase, wide pine floors and fireplaces. There are two distinctive rooms, all having private baths. The Elizabeth Room, named after a previous owner, is decorated in a Victorian style and has a queen-size bed and spacious bathroom. The Tall Chimney Room, unusual with its exposed brick chimney, reflects a feeling of comfort and warmth. It has a queen-size bed, high ceiling, a 2-person Jacuzzi in its large bathroom and balcony to the outside. A convenient stopping-off point for visitors traveling on Route 1 or I-295, it's also located near historic Wiscasset, Popham Beach, Reid State Park, Brunswick Naval Air Station, Bowdoin College and the Boothbay area.
