The breakfasts were great and I really appreciated the grab bars in the bathroom. The staff was helpful and friendly. They helped us select places in town to eat as well as how to get where we were going.
The traffic at 485 and 85. It was terrible.
The bed. It was soft and it sat hi. I loved the comforter which was not one of those cheap hard one's you normally see in hotels.
The coffee pot was located in the bathroom in a cute little nook which was a bit strange.
very comfortable bed and pillows; clean; location was ideal - right off of I-85 and on the southern side of Charlotte; quiet exit to be so near Charlotte
Seemed a little pricey the weekend we were there
Front desk worker super nice and pleasant upon arrival
I wish all hampton inns had a bar and dinner service in hotel. That would just make it COMPLETELY PERFECT!! 6 stars or 11 out of 10 :)
This motel is close to my son, daughter in law, and one year old granddaughter.
The acoustics in the room were not as I would have liked. I could hear bathroom noises while in bed. I was in the bed close to the window, so I would have thought being that far away from the bathroom, I wouldn't be able to hear anything.
Wonderful staff - especially the receptionist named Nicole. She was extremely helpful, and very kind.
The gym was a little small - but given that it was graduation weekend for the college, it is not a surprise that traffic was above average.
We recently stayed at this new no-smoking hotel for a family wedding. The rooms were spacious and clean. King rooms have a large walk-in shower and plenty of room in the bathroom. Queens came with a tub/shower. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and the free wi-fi was an added feature. The rooms featured large flat-panel TVs. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Cons - the hotel pool is outdoors, so we couldn't use it in November. The free breakfast was tasty but we wish we had more variety during our stay. The sink/counter in the baths seemed high and would be difficult for children to use. Small dresser space in the King room. Would have liked a room safe. Overall we would rate it high on our list to stay at again if visiting the Charlotte area. Is located near a Super Wal-Mart, grocery store, other shopping and fast food restaurants. Near an Enterprise car rental. [Note: the address didn't come up in our GPS units -use 90 McAdenville Road, Belmont to locate a nearby gas station instead]
