Downstairs from the apartment there is a bakery which sells fresh bread and croissants. At the end of Grossbeerenstrasse is the beautiful Victoria Park with its national monument. This monument provides an excellent view over much of the southern portions of the city. An artificial waterfall originates at the foot of the monument and continues down the hillside to the junction of Grobeerenstrae and Kreuzbergstrae. Additionally, the local wine Kreuz-Neroberger is cultivated here. Transport links are excellent with the nearest underground station (Mehringdamm) being approx. 500 metres away and the nearest tram station (Yorckstrasse) approx. 800 metres.
