Some rooms are small especially if you travel with kids.
I like the decoration, lighting,
Charge too much for valet $35 and amenities 15 . Coffee and tea should not be additional to the cost and Internet.
Friendly staff, great location.
The room was very average and does not fit in with a 4 star hotel.
Location near UCLA and all my shopping.
Parking charges and public parking also, squeaking doors,
The common areas seem well kept and they had a good food menu and in room service menu (although no prices were listed for in room items so I avoided consuming them).
The hotel rooms were small and not well kept up. Hotel felt old and the decor and setup reminded me of a motel instead of a 4 star hotel. A/C started making noises during the night and I had to chase a moth out of my room. $15/day mandatory extra charge.
Pool looked nice. The staff that checked us is were GREAT - very friendly and overall great....but that's where the good ends.
We had two rooms¿both had a smell of cigarettes. Hotel had a surprise $15.00 When asked what the charge was for, I was told the FREE internet (which we didn¿t use) and because they remodeled their pool. Asked to check out 15 min late, and was told 'no
The staff. And the restaurant and its staff.
It felt like motel!!
Staff is amazing, every person really well trained and naturally friendly. Makes you feel happy every time you come and go.
Parking is expensive, but expected for overnight parking in Beverly Hills.
Very retro hotel....1950ish. Lobby & restaurant very cool, Rooms look like they've been decorated to reflect the old hollywood era.
Pool closed for renovations! Booked this hotel specifically for the pool. Was informed at check in that pool was closed for the duration of our stay. Beyond disappointed & told them so. Bad business not to inform guests prior to check in.
I liked the boutique style room. It was smaller but the bed was extremely comfortable.
There was a $15 like amenities fee. It was for the bottled water and prosseco when I first arrived. I feel more like it was to help them pay for the pool that was out of order when I was there. Also valet was $37 a day.
Room was big.
Not a 4 star hotel. Stayed in a separate building across an alley which was an old apt bldg. Elevator broken and room was on 4th floor. Old dingy bldg Beds horrible. No lobby in this bldg. horrible experience. Felt like a 2 star hotel in the hood.
They have a building that is not part of the hotel is behind a back alley. They make you go through a back alley that is ugly and dirty so you can go to your room on the 4th floor and the best part is the elevator does not work. This in not shown or said
Charming mid century hotel. Good location.
This was NOT a 4 star hotel as advertised.
The staff was polite and welcoming. Also the location was very good.
I requested a 4 star hotel when putting in my offer and this hotel is barely a 3 star hotel. The rooms are old and have an unpleasant smell. Even if you don't use their amenities you are charged for them. You have to pay extra for WIFI. Not a good option.
The room and bathroom both looked pretty nice.
Our room was super loud. Tried to call front desk multiple times and only got an automated message. $37 mandatory valet fee was ridiculous, especially because we had to drive it around back in the alley ourselves.
The hotel has the feel of a converted apartment building rather than a 4 star hotel.
The best part of this hotel was the staff, they were super friendly and went above and beyond. If you just went to the front desk you would think this was a 4 star hotel. Their at desk amenities were fantastic and they responded so quickly to needs
The actual room, felt very cheaply furnished decorated. The style was ok and cute, but the pictures were stained, the paint was chipping the carpet felt dirty. It had been updated awhile ago and those furnishings didn't hold up.
Great Location, staff and public areas. Easy 15 min walk to Rodeo drive.Great in-room coffee, free water, fre Wi-Fi. Nice patio off room.
Confusing, Outdated shower controls.slow Wi-Fi.
Cute decor very nice staff great location
One double bed only option. Pool in middle of dining area. Plumbing smells coming from bathroom drains.
Location was good and loved the friendly staff at check in.
Do not recommend dining at the hotel restaurant food was under cooked, super small porportions and over priced.
The room ws very clean
Just the back alley inbetween reception and our room. On my own with my 2 girls was a little concerning.
Public areas of the hotel and the level of service were outstanding. They were worthy of a four star hotel rating, if not five. The bar, pool area and restaurant are very attractive. It is great to have parking privileges for visitors of hotel guests.
The room was barely adequate; it was small, the bathroom very small, the closet was tiny, the hvac control was not reliable, no provision for seating on the balcony and the carpet looked outdated and its color did not work with the rest of the room.
service was impeccable At check in the attendant noticed my room wasn't up to standard and upgraded us to a suite!!
My original room was in a building across from the main building and it reminded me of a dorm feel
We enjoyed the restaurant and pool area.
We didn't like how the television didn't work on the first night and no credit was offered in return. There was also internet charges that we didn't ask for.. and the bathroom is not a 4 star bathroom. The balcony door did not lock.
The location and friendliness of the staff
i had to pay $15 for amenities even though I paid in full in advance for the room
Location and the size of the room.
The hotel charges an extra $15 per night per room, $37/$40 per night per car, is overpriced. And this hotel is pretty old, in my opinion, should not rated as a four star hotel.
Location was good and the staff was very nice
Rooms and hotel were an average 3 star
Amazing lobbyBathroom was functional shabby chicroom coffee was keurig machine
a little hard to find the entrance/drivewayroom was across the street in a different building~$37 for parking$10-15 for room stuff (little gift bag/'complimentary' wine/bottled water)
The place was horrible. The floors were wet and had mats all over the place so people shouldn't slip. There was a moldy bottle of milk in the room. Bathroom had leftover heir. . . No idea how this was rated as 5 Star. You must have meant minus five star.
Marilyn Monroe lived there for a couple of years, location and the restaurant was superb
Walking in the rain to cross an alley through the hotel to get to my room.
They gave me a room outside of hotel. A room that they gave me located separated building of the main building. A entrance was not locked. I asked changed the room at the main hotel building but a employee at the front desk denied my asking.
The staff was great!!!
The rooms could use a remodel
Was suppose to get two beds. Didn't happen. Then got upgraded for 40 with a pull out couch that was next to windows. Was a cold night. Reimbursed that fee. Hidden 15 dollar fee and hidden 40 parking fee. Wouldn't recommwnd. Very dissapointed.
Front desk staff were charming. Size of room (we paid for an upgrade to Premium king room) was good.
Room had broken blind, no lock on bathroom door, no basic coffee / tea service and when we requested it the staff brought us chipped cups. The swimming pool was not useable; something we had upgraded our rooms so that we were close to. Street noise.
Large space and clean
Woken up by loud pipes shower and employees
I like the location. The bar looked good and the staff was friendly
Gross room. Terrible. Dark, smelly, had spiders. The room was small, loud and unclean. This is a terrible hotel.
location and very friendly, helpful staff
tiny rooms, really more of an old fashioned motel than a 4 1/2 star hotel.
Noise from second floor. You can get the same price from hotel directly.
Calling this a 4-star hotel is a joke. It's closer to a mid-priced motel. Small room, small bath with no tub, chipped paint, rust, burned out light globes. Obviously quite old and in need of major update.
Lobby entrance and pool area with cabanas is impressive. Breakfast in hotel restaurant was superb.
Common areas to rooms is strange. Cut through to room is through an alley. Passed garbage and parking to get to room.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Unusual feature of being able to exchange maid service for a substantial credit for the restaurant. Good size room, very comfortable bed and good quality shower gel provided in the bathroom. Wifi was included in the price.
The price for parking the car seemed a bit steep.
The staff was friendly.
The room was located across the street from the main hotel. It was small; the décor was ok. The bathroom was small and inefficient. The AC unit was very loud and you could hear noise from other rooms and the corridor.
Very noisy-both street noise and from adjacent rooms. Also, pool area furniture was being moved around at 2am contributing to the noise. Very small rooms.
The staff was friendly
The rooms are located across the street from the hotel. The rooms lack central air and use a wall unit. The closets are short. You cannot hang a suite or a dress with out getting it wrinkled.
Nothing not worth the money at all
I hated it it ruin my birthday
Small rooms next to the loud Main Street Very bad smell in both rooms Toilet flush did not work
nothing at all
my room was in a separate building from the main hotel and had to cross a street that wasn't safe to cross. they also didn't have a double available and i was not happy at all.
The $31 per day parking, non existent pool
room is too small. old building.
