The location .The staff were friendly and informative .I've stayed there 4 times before and would return again .
I missed seeing Mdmsle Finance ,the former manergeress ,who has now gone to run Le Bouccannier .She has always been very helpful in the past .
I enjoyed the fact that you could come and go as you pleased with very attentive reception staff when needed and that there was a supermarket in very close proximity and was able to order things such as baguette etc for the mornings.
We stayed here 'last minute' and were happy with the room and facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The kids loved the space and it was great that they could kick around a football. The position and views are excellent. We liked the fact that we could buy tickets to the attractions from the front desk. Not only saving us money but also time. Also handy to have a supermarket across the road. The beach which was patrolled was a few hundred metres down the road. Plus the small clean at the end was no big deal. A sweep of the floor and all the linen put into the bathtub no dramas. This has been asked of us at other french apartments so we were prepared. All in all a really great stay and the kids can not wait to go back again.
If you are a gourmet cook you may struggle with the kitchenette facilities. But we only used it for breakfast and lunch, so no problems there. And if you want to be in the centre of town then the kids have to walk a bit, maybe 1.5km, but there is a bus stop right outside if you choose.
We liked the location and the fact there was free parking. It had a great view from the gounds. The unit was set up great for families with children.
I would have liked beach access.
Amazing view, good location.
We did not like how we had to clean the room before leaving, this place wasn't cheap and a maidservice should be included plus we had to fold the dirty laundry(towels and sheets) before leaving. They did not give us enough towels for 5 people and we were expected to pay to rent more towels.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely location beside the sea. Good value for money.
Shower facilities were poor. Hand held shower and no shower curtain so impossible not to have spillages. Bedroom upstairs and toilet down a steep stairs so dangerous at night. Strange having to clean room on departure. Had not been informed of this in advance or on arrival. Learned of it through signs around hotel. Had never experienced this before in spite of having stayed in similar apartments around France previously.
A good location, close to beach and the town, with a supermarket close by. The cooking facilities were useful. Great sea/coastal views from most rooms.
Bed was a fold down divan and uncomfortable. Golf was mini-golf and a bit ordinary at that. Office/reception opening hours were a bit limited at the time we stayed.
1) The reservation was for the "Port Side." There is no "Port Side" as the port is about 5 km on the other side of the bay. 2) The studio I booked had 2 single beds and one single sofa bed. Double beds are only in the high-priced rooms for 5 people. 3) The stairs to the loft bedroom are very steep. Dangerous for kids, older seniors, and differently-abled folks. 4) The silverware in the utensil drawer was dirty. 5) There is no microwave - only a small broiler. 6) Absolutely no security at night - the doors are wide open. 7) No power or lights on at our 7 PM arrival - we had to call the "Emergency" # and search for the breaker in the dark. 8) Staff was cooly indifferent as my "booking category" did not permit changes without additional fees.
