We found this hotel on the net. The price was really good. The staff was friendly and the room was really nice and clean. Great fridge that kept our food cold for the 2 days we stayed. The maid was great, even finding our sons favorite Lego man in the trash that he accidently dropped. We will be sure to stay here on our return from Yellowstone Park.
Room wasnt made up when we got there we called they brought us up sheets and towells to do ourselves the next day beds werent made.
everything was fine except the restaurant we waited 45 min for food and then it was not good the manager was very nice and compted it for us
It was a great deal (online). Arrived and found out we were in the 'not yet remodeled' part, but were not told that. The restaurant was very disappointing. Beds were good, room was clean, fridge plugged in and very warm (broken, we had it turned to coldest and didn't change the temp). Good bargain for a no frills type stay
We ended up leaving because of the dingy, smelly loby. We ended up paying for a room and we never stayed there, it was that bad.
Lots of sketchy people hanging around the front lobby and the hallways at the back entrance smelled awful. The room we had smelled better but this isn't a place I would return to.
The hotel was overall of average quality and convenience.
The room was clean but the beds were not very comfortable. The bedding was average quality and not very soft. The water slides were not that great and the pool area was small. I liked that there was a restaurant and the food served was pretty good.
Stayed here overnight so the kids could enjoy the waterslide. Have stayed here a few times in the past as well. No problems with anything and the kids had fun swimming.
This hotel is a good value for the money with swimming pool, exercise room, and casino. A little fun for the whole family. I plan on staying here again.
Enjoyed the stay there. Would like to have had more light in room. Was fairly dark. Overall was a good stay. Have stayed there twice and would gladly stay there again. Staff was great.
The room smalled kind of funny but it's OK for the money.
room was clean and quiet will stay there again. People who run the motel were very nice
Overall appearance from the outside is nice but when you step inside...owww...a kind of a step back in time, lets say the early '80's. Our room looked as though there had been a few to many kegger parties and the kilted door kicked in a few times. The beds were barely hanging on to the bent bed frames and the shower, no matter what time of day (thinking that everyone is showering at once), gets scalding hot to normal to scalding hot within a short period, had to time it almost exactly when to rinse. Overall....Go stay somewhere else.
The staff was nice....bar appeared fine. Unfortunately the pool was closed for renovation when i was there - it looked nice, although there was a sign posted that said to use the water slide you had to have a $* wrist band. That would irritate me if I was using it. The workout room was also being renovated so the equipment was in a hallway. The room was fine - again, nothing remarkable but was fine for the money. I did note that the doors other than the lobby had signs that you needed to use the room key to enter but they were not locked, so anyone could walk in.
Hotel was good, good location, close to all amenities. I only had 2 issues. When I arrived at 4pm a room was not ready and there was a short wait. The staff was pleasant and helpful and when we checked back an hour or so later, I was given the key to our room. The room was clean and comfy. I however was not as happy with the pool. I was not informed when we checked in that there was a $* charge per child for them to utilize the water slides. There were no signs on any of the doors we used to access the pool and there was not an attendant when we arrived. My children swam and played on the slides. When the attendant came back from a break, he snatched my children and told them that they were not to ride the slides without a bracelet and if they wanted one they would have to cough up $* bucks each. When I came over to see what the problem was he told me there was a charge to ride the slides. When I asked him how I would have known that, he pointed out a sign on one of the doors that lead to the pool. Later that evening when the pool was closing that same pool attendant was rude, surly and hostile not only toward my children, but also to me. Overall, I would hate to let that one bad apple spoil the hotel. We will stay again, we will pay the $* bucks at check in and we will avoid that pool attendant like the plague, should he not have found his way to a job he likes better.
My family and I recently stayed at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center and had a great experience! Our room was clean, the staff was very friendly from the Front Desk to the Housekeeping to the owner. My kids LOVED the indoor waterslide and the restaurant was very good. The price was way under what I was expecting. I highly recommend this place! This is our official spot from now on in Billings!
We stayed here for tow nights in late june 2009 the rooms are ok i think we must of stayed in the wing that hasent been renovated. overall its a good hotel to stay at.esspecially if you get a deal on travel on line myself my wife and three young children. great pool with two water slides. also a lounge and casino where i won great drive to yellowstone nat park on a senic backroad check your map for hwy 212.
The staff are all unfriendly, unhelpful! The showers are the worst! Faucet installed backwards & the water cycles from warm cold, scalding hot!!! Would never stay here again! Was also guaranteed lowest rate & heard then giving other callers lower rates than we paid! Beds are hard, maid cleaned room even tho we had put out our do not disturb sign when we stepped out, No elevators, steep stairs. Long walk to front of hotel.
UNLESS IT IS THE LAST RESOURCE IN BILLINGS, MT FOR A HOTEL WAIT A WHILE. THIS MOTEL IS UNDER REMODELING AND IS MESS. LOBBY WAS CLEAN BUT I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE ROOM AND THE SMELL WAS NOT VERY GOOD. IT'S AN OLDER MOTEL AND THE OWNERS ARE TRYING TO UPDATE IT. JUST WAS NOT IMPRESSED.
We were worried about this hotel from all of the reviews that we read. But all in all, it was not a bad stay. There isn't anything exceptional about the hotel, but there isn't anything awful either. By and largem the rooms, and bathrooms, were clean. The pillows could use a bit of upgrading. There were no elevators to get you to the second floor, so if that is important, request a first floor room. The restaurant is average, and the cocktail lounge is OK. There are some other chain restaurants nearby. The location is a little far away from downtown or the airport. If you are looking for a place to spend a night, it's really not that bad.
