Unacceptable parking, no other guests but me (sense of isolation and vulnerability), room decor from 1970s, location not near restaurants or gas stations
Dirty, rundown, sheets were not clean, bathroom was not clean, rooms masking odour with copious amounts of air freshenerJust not the place to stay if you go to Binghamton. We were a group of 11 and had 5 rooms. 3 of the group simply refused to stay and went to the Holiday Inn and had a much better experience. If you are going to Binghamton, go there. Rooms were dirty and any odour there would be masked by the amount of air freshener used. One of the group found a sock in the bed and we all had sheets and comforters that were stained. Bathrooms were dirty. The whole hotel looked run down. Definitely will not stay there again.
Front desk young woman was very helpful.
I did not like the fact that I paid xxx for two rooms through priceline when the actual cost of each room was only xxxx (plus tax). I will not use priceline again because of your inflated price.Lousy section of Binghamton...building under construction; filthy front lobby and very shabby interior. The rooms, however, were o.k. and quite clean. The manager who was called about a t.v. question, gave an incorrect answer.
Local staff who were helpful and suggested places to eat
Cleanliness (lack of!)
NOTHING AT ALL
VERY DIRTY, WHEN I TURNED ON THE LAMP IN THE ROOM IT FELL OFF THE FLOOR, THE BATHROOM WAS FILTHY AND STILL HAD THE PREVIOUS GUEST USED SOAP AND WASH TOWEL IN THE TUB. THE WHOLE PLACE SMELLED DIRTY AND THE FREE BREAKFAST HAD OLD CEREALTHE PLACE NEEDS A WHOLE MAKE OVER
Staff was pretty friendly, room was huge. Had everything I needed, fridge microwave etc.
It smelled just, off, can't quite place it, wasn't quite stale cigarettes, but there was a definite hint of it, took a while to get the smell out of my clothes when i left. This place has potential, and they're in the process of remodeling it somewhat, but its age has definitely started to show and they really need to find out whats causing that smell. Staff was friendly, and the room was certainly good sized. Refrigerator left a bit to be desired, as it didn't get terribly cold, but overall wasn't the worst hotel I've been in.
staff was friendly
room was very run-down, smelled of cigaretts, very limited parking, almost non-functioning elevatorworst priceline experience ever...
Internet worked well.
Deteriorating furniture, not cleaned or kept up. Excessive amount of some spray in room by cleaing staff making it almost unbearale to breath in room at times. TV old, remote falling apart, not all light bulbs worked, AC myaswell been a fan it was so poHorrible, avoid at all costs, it is amayzing how they are rated a 2 star just because of their name and not the quality of the hotel. Not only is it dirty, it does not feel safe, parking is a joke, breakfast is not worth the name. Deffinitely one of the worst, out of hundreds, of hotels i have gotten thru priceline.
It was run down. When I went to check out, they had my address and card information wrong and didn't know how to solve it. Fortunately my card was charged at the time of reservation online.Run down building, picture online is misleading, room smelled bad, overpriced for the quality.
