The location to the airport, airport shuttle, and parking while away. Public spaces were nice too.
The room was horribly outdated!! Looks like the 1st floor has been updated, but definitely not the 2nd! The halls were a little dirty, but the room was pretty clean - could just tell it's been used for many years.Overall great service, good public spaces, and great service to and from the airport. Parts need a little updating, but overall happy with my short stay.
Very well kept.
Cigarette smoke in hallways was too much. Even though I was in a non smoking area I could still smell it coming under my door into my room.Very nice pool area. Hotel was clean.
Location. Only a block from Mall of America and 24hr shuttle service.
Everything else. Check in clerk seemed rude, sink and toilet had trouble draining, shower was very small(no tub 3'x3'),and wallpaper peeling from the wallsOverall this was the worst hotel stay ever. Not very clean in rooms but lobby was nice.
Location, right next to mall of America.
Shower was little to be desired. Very, very small.
burn holes in the carpet, no tub, showerhead was for someone 4ft tall, someone else's hair in the shower, beds were hard as a rockWhen I asked the hotel management about getting a different room, perferably one with a queen bed instead of two full beds, I was told there were none available. When I asked for a reduced price upgrade to a king, which was available, given the numerous complaints I had about the room, I was told that since I booked on Priceline, I got the bare minimum, 'You get what you get' and no upgrade was possible. Bad customer service, rooms were dated, unclean, bed was hard, and the bathroom was unuseable due to the height of the shower head.
The staff was very friendly and tried to put us in an area of the hotel that was the quietest.
Although the entrance and bar area have been renovated beautifully, the owner should have spent the money renovating the rooms first. This is where guests spend most their time. The location is very close to MOA, but is also close the the interstate and airport. As a result, it is not quiet in the rooms. Even in the 'quiet' section of the hotel, I was awakened during the night by semi-trucks on the interstate. The rooms are in serious need of updating and better sound proofing as nothing can be done about the location. I would not stay here again. There is no breakfast included either. Most hotels in this category offer a free breakfast.
The LocationThis hotel should not have a 2.5 star rating. Quite possibly the dirtiest hotel I have ever experienced.
The Staff was friendly
The rooms were outdated and the shower was very smallGreat location for the price and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hallways were abnormally very long and dark so if you are alone traveling be cautious as I had some dude dressed like a girl follow me down the hall and eventually try to get my attention as if I was interested? It was awkward. Now I know how woman feel when creepy guys do that. I would not suggest letting your kids run alone in those halls. I did notice about 6 children under the age of 10 in the swimming pool with absolutely no supervision. When one of the staff members saw them he said I am not their parent so not my responsibility. Apparently, he would rather wait until a child drowns for it to be his responsibility? The rooms internally are outdated and hopefully they fix that.
The style and the location
Water pipes did not drain well at all. When I took a shower all the water was past the ankles.
