Location. Banana Wind is positioned in the Lockrum Estates neighborhood in the south central area of the island of Anguilla. The villa is located between Blowing Point and Little Harbour on Round Rock Bay, known for its excellent snorkeling. Banana Wind is approximately five kilometers from the ferry terminal on Blowing Point, and less than 24 kilometers from any of Anguilla's 30 beaches and dozens of restaurants.Features. Featuring contemporary design, Banana Wind offers panoramic views of the Caribbean and of the nearby islands of St. Martin and Saba. The villa's southern exposure brings cooling trade winds, and the sounds of waves crashing on the secluded beach can be heard throughout the house. Banana Wind includes a gourmet kitchen, formal dining room, indoor courtyard and living room. The ocean side of the villa boasts a 1,500 square foot veranda with a freshwater infinity edge pool. Hammocks, lounge chairs, patio furniture and a bocce court are provided. Beach umbrellas, beach towels, a cooler and two sea kayaks are available to take down to the water.Guestrooms. Banana Wind includes two main ocean view suites and an additional bedroom. All bedrooms are air conditioned and feature private bathrooms. Complimentary high speed Internet access, cable television, a DVD player, VCR and CD player are included. The house includes a washer and dryer.Expert Tip. The villa's name was take from the album title of a Jimmy Buffet record. He references a banana wind as a tropical wind strong enough to blow bananas from the trees.
