The hotel was very clean
Housekeeping was vacuuming hallways at 8:30 am and since the walls are very thin you can hear everything coming from hallways and other rooms.
A great diner (Mel's)was in walking distance. The room was clean. The two beds took up most of the space, but the bedding was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good.My husband and I arrived late after a long flight. Thankfully a great diner (Mel's)was open and a few steps away. The room was clean. The two beds took up most of the space, but the bedding was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good. What we are most thankful for is the fact that a very honest housekeeper, Aracelli, found our leather jackets in the closet after we checked out- and packaged them up for us, so we had them for our return to the northeast. Thank you to Susan? the manager who tracked them down, as well.
Nice complimentary breakfast
sign on elevator said out of order yet maids were using it. was it or wasn't it? We had to climb the stairs with luggage. Was a nice 3 star hotel until I checked in and got the 1 star treatment when they saw that I was a priceline user. Front desk all of a sudden gained an attitude.
Nice Hotel and room. Close to lots of amenities.
The walls were VERY thin. I could hear the elevators, toilets flushing, adjoining rooms TVs. Bugs in the bathroom.Based on the noise level and palmetto bugs in the bathroom I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
Not too mamy towels in the pool area neither and itemized billOverall it was great
Easy to find and was quiet.
Found cockroach in room and folks oh turned pool area into their personal party and grilling area.
The rooms were newly remodelled. I liked the white linens. The public spaces are very nice. The staff are all very welcoming.
This is not a 3 star hotel. Beds were creaky for being new. The AC system is VERY loud. Breakfast was skimpy--if you don't like cereal or waffles or carbs, you're out of luck. I used the pool once and it was clear it had not been cleaned recently. If you're looking for a budget hotel that is newly redone, this is a good value, but it's NOT a 3 star hotel. The AC system is VERY loud, as is the bathroom fan. When you stay here, buy a nightlight for the bathroom--the light and fan are connected and it is very loud as well. Breakfast is minimal. Not far from beaches, but not close to other restaurants except Mel's, which was excellent. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Our maid was excellent--no complaints.
The facility and staff were absolutely super!! Some of the excellence we experienced was obviously due the the very recent remodeling, but everything met or exceeded our expectations! We had not stayed at a LaQuinta Inn since 2007, not because of dissatisfaction, but due to location and convenience. Our previous experience was very favorable, and this stay was not an exception. The complimentary breakfast was great, with plenty of choices, and extremely well maintained. My wife and I are real beach fans, and the nearness to such 'top 10' beaches as Barefoot Beach, Lovers Key, Sunset Beach, etc. met our desires to a 'T'. There were dozens of great eating places, ....something for everyone's pocket book, nearby. Our favorite was Mel's Diner, just across the parking lot. Don't let the name fool you, .....an incredibly diverse menu, great prices, especially on wine and beer, and really great service!
No but had plumbing issues on the 2nd room I rentedClean and new with curtious staff. Dogs and cats are allowed in the room.
