Beautiful historic building with modern interior and furnishings. Great location.
The staff at the reception was rather cold and unfriendly, gave mono-syllabic answers. However, bellboy and valet were very helpful and friendly.
Loved how modern looking the hotel and room were. Also that it had a frig in the room and very nice bedding. Stayed 2 nights and thought the parking price as per day, but very happy to find it was for our stay. In & out parking allowed.
Did not have a pool and the gym room was small. But the other strong points of the hotel made up for it. Did not like the upcharge for two double beds, from king, because room was supposed to be bigger, while it was not bigger.Overall loved the hotel. Very modern looking. Service was great, the guy and the gal at the front desk recommended many options for eating. They upgraded room to two double beds, though I had to pay an additional $30.00 per night, but it was worth it as I brought our older kids, so we needed the bed space. They said it was because the room was bigger, but we don't think the room was actually bigger, just that instead of a king bed we got 2 doubles. We left Ames to go to Falmouth, and came bac...
Location was very good
Access was tough, there is almost no room to pull up and unload
Location, location location! Also, the rooms were beautiful.
The Bar was closed for renovations.Perfect location for a Boston trip. Everything was in walking distance, including the Boston Commons, Faneuil Hall, Aquarium, bars, etc. The only thing that was an issue was that the bar in the hotel was closed for renovation. Otherwise, book this hotel now.
Location was great. Room was standard size, but clean and comfortable.
Great staff, but front desk service needs help. Requesting my valeted car be returned took over 15 minutes (no answer, call back to concierge went to voice mail and 3rd tried was picked up, but put on hold for 10+ minutes). Then waited another 10 for car.Great location, relative to financial district and local attractions. Was a bit noisy due to street traffic, but overall a very good experience.
The location was great, and walking distance to everything. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful.
Would have loved recommendations for parking...and there is no sign for the hotel....just a tiny historical plaque about the history of the building.Perfect for what we needed, walking distance to the aquarium and sites and a quick cab to Fenway. There is no sign for the hotel, just a historical plaque on the history of the building and there is no real lobby to speak of - so finding the hotel was tricky. I was traveling with the children, not the typical guest as far as I could see - but the staff was open and friendly.
We purchased 2 rooms for our family whigh includes 3 teenagers. it was not disclosed that we would have to pay an additional $30 fee if we wanted one of the rooms to have 2 beds instead of a king. With parking, we ended up paying an additional $80!Restaurant was closed. It was hard to find because it did not have a sign. Location was great. Nice rooms and great bathrooms. Friendly staff.
The decor was minimalist and modern. Very clean. Trendy. Location was close to attractions.
We brought the kids. Though getting up the stairs off the street with strollers. The elevators were tight. Lot of street noise until about 2:30am even though we were on the eighth floor.Great hotel for a couple that wants to be close to everything. Tough to find if you don't know the area. I thought it was an office building! Overall, we had a good time.
It was conveniently located in Downtown Boston - great proximity to the T, very close to the financial district and the north end.
There was no food or beverage service. The restaurant and bar were closed. How can a hotel get 4 stars without a restaurant, bar or room service? In addition, it is very poorly marked.
Proximity to Quincy MArket, etc
NoGreat location, very nice! Highly recommend.
