Welcome to Days Inn Bradenton Near the Gulf conveniently located in a busy central area minutes from McKechnie Field and Pirate City, spring training facilities for the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team, Manatee Civic Center, and the IMG Academies. Also nearby are the corporate offices of Bealls, Champs and Tropicana processing plant. Beautiful Gulf beaches are just 6 miles west. Staying here you can enjoy the beaches without the higher beach prices. Visitors will enjoy shopping and movies at the DeSoto Square Mall, skating at the Roller-Rink, within walking distance. Dine at a variety of restaurants and lounges located in the area. There are many attractions and activities available including free historic museums. On-site Royal Rajasthan Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Pros:The guy that checked us in was nice. It was clean to the eye. Didn't have noise problems. It was just okay.
Cons:You know when a room has been locked up for months and there is an overall musty smell in it? That's exactly what it smelled like when I first walked in. Felt like I was going to choke. We had to air it out for a bit and it still didn't help. It was okay in terms of cleanliness. They came exactly at checkout as we were leaving and knocked we said we were coming and they opened the door on us anyway. luckily we had the latch on. That was very disrespectful. I wouldn't stay here again though. Definitely wasn't worth more than $50
Pros:I am not a fan of this hotel. For approximately $400 for a 5 night stay, I am not a fan. I witnessed numerous overdoses for which ambulances responded in the middle of the nights with siren and lights (which they rightfully should). As if that wasn't bad enough, the clientele of this hotel looks like they are the people supplying the drugs to the junkies that keep overdosing here. I also had the pleasure of running into homeless people every time I went to go get ice in the breezeway. The ice machine looked unkempt as well. I couldn't let the staff know about any of this from my room though, because the phone didn't even work! No dial tone, no nothing, just dead. When housekeeping staff came around, the only thing they changed were the towels and washcloths. They didn't change the sheets, and I know this because the sheet I had during my stay had a cigarette burn in it despite this being a no smoking room. I took showers before I slept and when I woke up, but this makes me think that the housekeeping staff just makes the bed without bothering to put clean sheets on it. Would you think that they sleep in their bed on dirty sheets? The housekeeping staff didn't bother giving me more coffee each day, and I repeatedly had to go to the front desk in person to ask for more. Manatee County Sheriff's Office had to respond multiple times to this property at virtually every hour of the day and night. It was so bad that I had my door locked and bolted with every lock they had on it at all times. I didn't feel safe at this property. There really is nothing around this property to make you absolutely have to stay here, its just situated close to where I plan to move soon, and that was the purpose of this visit. The TV has static on roughly 50-60% of channels, and this was before the hurricane came through. All in all, I would never stay here again, and I don't think anyone else should too unless they want to see the seedy underbelly of society, and feel unsafe in their room on a nightly basis.
Pros:Room I stayed in was clean and comfortable.
Cons:Need to clean or replace carpet in rooms and offer all the television channels listed. Especially if traveling with children.
Pros:Clean, safe, quiet, convenient location. Great value location for my short stay.
