the price was adequate and about right for the amenities offered. staff and service was acceptable.
the showerhead needs to be raised about a foot. it is too low for anyone who is tall(above 5'6').
Great value. A good room at a good price.
Price was reasonable. Location was good.
I understand I was paying for a lower end motel, but the cleanliness could have been much better. Floor in the sink area, bathroom floor and comforters all needed attention.
We liked that they had adjoining rooms and the beds were very comfortable. Very affordable for what we needed it for. Close to the Mexican restaurant next door. Great breakfast.
The decor. A little to loud. Needs to be toned down a little.
Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The price was great. Toilet and tub need some updating, but for the price, this was a great, rustic styled room. Surprisingly pleased and I plan to stay in this motel for all future visits to the area.
Front desk called the room to ask when we would be checking out prior to the listed checkout time. I felt rushed by this.
convenient and value for money
room smelled smoky
The hotel was clean and comfortable. It provided the basic needs for 2 fisherman for 2 days.
First rm was smokey, pillows had blood stains on them: not up to my wifes standards (she has cleaned motel rooms for a living in the past) so on to the second rm and still not so good took two more rooms looking into and finally found one clean. This is a very old Motel so do not expect class, just a low cost room. these rooms are (most) small circa 40s 50s building style. As of this writing 5/8/10 desk has mostly new clerks, but seemed willing to help as much as able. Coffee in am was OK. On a score of 1 to 5 where 5 is the highest we give it a 3. Pool was not open as this writing. The resturant next door has good breakfast, lunch and dinner. PaPa Poblano's, not connected to the Motel as far as we knew. Kelly and Danna A. Decatur, Texas
Do not let the old looks of the motel scare you away. It has everything needed for the corporate traveler: restaurant, newspaper, high speed internet, soft beds, and clean rooms. :-) Totally awesome place. I stay there about 6 times a year.
