Cheap. Close to public transit.
Not particularly clean. Had to change rooms because bed sheets were dirty. Second room was not much cleaner. You get what you pay for. Not the cleanest but it was cheap and location was convenient for my needs.
Staff was friendly and helpful
I hates the fact of no parking. No safe in room breakfast was bad
Nothing at all it was a complete disaster.
They said they I did not pay for my bill on price line. In which I showed them a confirmation number.Terrible will never go back again or use Priceline again.
Room size excellent for price in NYC.Helpful staff, nice room, clean, close to subway. Liked everything about it, would stay again without hesitation.
The location is in the middle of a huge shopping strip.
Was a bit far from the big cityHotel was nice, breakfast wasn't anything really special, room was nice, hotel staff was nice
It was literally right in front of the subway, which was very convienient. As such, if the sound of the subway would bother you, don't stay here. It's not overly loud or anything, it's actually a pleasant white noise rumble, but it's noticable
Staff didn't speak great english which isn't anyone's fault and expected in NYC.I got a Queen size room. I was told by a lot of people that a 'Queen size' room in NYC meant any room they could fit a queensize bed in. Well that was surprisingly not the case. The room is smaller than a Queensized room elsewhere, sure, but it was actually pretty spacious. I stayed by myself but I would've been fine sharing the space with someone. The hotel has a nice deli right across the street which is open 24/7 and was perfect for a late night snack in an unfamiliar city where I didn't want to go very far on my own. There's also an Ihop right by the subway, along with a pizza place so there's plenty of nearby food. I was...
The clean rooms and hallways even the building was well maintained
The neighborhoodGood for the price . Clean and filling breakfast.
The hotel is clean, comfortable, cozy and well-maintained. No complaints about the physical plant.
The location is odd, and there are three 'parking spaces' in front of the hotel which requires you to hop the curb. If they're full, you're on your own with street parking. The hotel is clean, comfortable, cozy and well-maintained. No complaints about the physical plant. Regarding the folks who have frowned upon the location of the Sumner Hotel: The neighborhood is Bushwick, a mixed residential/commercial/industrial neighborhood that is full of people who aren't white. It's loud, it's funky, and it's not what you're used to if you're not from a major city. I was born and raised in the city of Boston, and I never once felt unsafe. That being said, I'm not a 58 year ...
The bed was wonderful!
No, parking for vehicles. The hotel is in a great location in Brooklyn. It is close to a train station, a 24 hour deli across the street and shopping. The complimentary breakfast is standard nothing too fancy. The room was clean and no odors.
