Only one problem with the car rental experience. Budget In Falmouth, Ma is scheduled to open at 8:30 AM, the staff did not show up until 9:15AM. It was pouring rain and a line of about 8 people standing in line outside office in the rain. Calling the location did not help. Mail box was full. Going online with Budget with live chat did not help. Very concerning as many people were headed to airports, a funeral, etc. Car was about 90% full of gas and the car was never gone over or checked by staff. Very poor experience at picking up car. Car itself was nice and clean. Drop off was great!Reviewed Oct 2 2022

ScrewjobCons:We were driving from Falmouth MA to Boston which is just a little over a hour away. When we got to Boston I had put in the address of the rental place to return the car to. It turned out to be a storefront with no place to park the car and we had no directions on where to take it. I tried to call the rental company and I could not get through to them. In fact I was on hold for over 5 minutes and then they hung up on me. Without anyone answering. We finally had to park out in the street and one of us ran in and asked where to take the car and it turned out to be in a parking garage down the street. We had tried to find a gas station in Boston to fill the tank back up with gas but were unable to find one anywhere. So we decided to go ahead and take the car back because we use such a small amount of gas. They charged us $30 for gas and it should have only been for about 2-3 gallons.Reviewed Oct 3 2016
