Palermo Hollywood is an older area with a really beautiful neighborhood ambience – cobbled, tree- lined streets, corner cafes, small local shops including bakeries and greengrocers with fresh fruits and vegetables. The apartment is also located close to Avenida Santa Fe – a main shopping street and thoroughfare – with buses and subway to the center and plenty of inexpensive taxis to take you wherever you want to go. One of 2 elevators will take you to the 6th floor of this modern building, where a security guard is on duty to monitor the entrance, and the apartment itself is on the corner of the building with aspects in 2 directions. Windows open on both sides affording lots of light and allowing a breeze, although the apartment is – of course – air conditioned. The main room includes a kitchen with counter/table and chairs for 4 people, and sliding glass doors onto a balcony. The kitchen has a new, full-sized fridge, double sink, microwave, toaster and plenty of china, pots and pans and small appliances, including a juicer. The counter is stainless steel. The sitting area has a large sofa, and 2 armchairs, as well as 3 white leather covered stools, around a coffee table and a rug. There are books on Argentina and some fiction, a TV and DVD player and some DVDs on a side tale. More sliding doors open on to a balcony where, sitting at the table and chairs, you can enjoy a coffee or an aperitif. There is also a half bath at this level for your convenience. There are some attractive works of art on the walls with Tango – the soul of Buenos Aires – as the theme. A staircase leads to the loft sleeping area with a king sized bed, fine linens, and a full bathroom with tub and shower and excellent lighting as well as a window. Next to the bed is a generous closet with plenty of hanging space and shelves for two and there is also a safe. Alongside the loft, and above the main living area there is an office area with a long desk, WiFi and executive chair and another comfy chair to relax in, read, admire the view, or plan your sightseeing in Argentina. The apartment is decorated in neutral colors, comfortable and elegant furniture, and hardwood floors with tiled floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. This apartment is perfect for a longer term stay in Buenos Aires or pampering yourself for just a few short nights. Our company manages several other units in the same building (PH4, PH6, PH7) if you are coming with family or friends and all want to stay in the same building. The apartment has good public transport connection with it being adjacent to a subway and local train station.
