Red Roof Inn San Francisco Airport (SFO) is a pet friendly, family friendly and is just minutes to the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Conveniently accessible through BART to all that San Francisco has to offer including the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, and downtown San Francisco.
Single women should not stay here. Low end. Did not feel safe. Smoking on decks by rooms. Claims to be non smoking. Needed safe in room for doc"s not working. Beer bottles broken in parking lot. New rule pay to park $10. Per night...
Location for business
Door was broken. Understaffed. Trash was not removed during first night. Accidentally charged when already prepaid. Still waiting for refund after speaking to red roof inn admitting the mistake.
A bit small. We I reserved a room with double beds. The beds felt a bit worn out with no support. No light in the vanity.
The pipes in the wall are so old, you risk sleep deprivation by staying here. I "slept" here for 3 nights and never got a full night's rest. The pipes in my room rumbled loud enough to keep me (heavy sleeper) awake. They admitted they needed to tear out the old noisy pipes but only mentioned they knew it was an ongoing problem after 3 days of complaining. The Manager Jeff was unresponsive and very rude over the phone. Don't stay here unless you like sleeping with ear plugs with sporadic rumbling walls in the background.
Close to airport. Clean reasonably priced rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.
Room was a little small but fine for 1 night.
AC was cool and quiet. You'd be surprised how much AC helps even in San Fran.
no free bfast.
Location. Close to the airport and San Francisco. Room was clean
I booked a "Bayview Room"-Kingsize (some extra bucks). When I checked in I was offered a double on 3rd floor (hotel has 5 floors). I complained and the front staff man explained to me that I may choose between 3rd floor double or 1st floor!! kingsize. In his opinion "Bayview" is a view at the lagoon from 1st floor. I complained again but these were the only rooms left. So I accepted 3rd floor. I walked up to 5th floor. From there you have a really nice view of San Francisco bay. Thats really bad costumer politics. I will not stay there again!
check in separate from rooms
Pool was closed so the price for the room was very over priced. I only picked that hotel because it had a out door heated pool but when I showed up they said it was closed to save money
