Staff at front desk was very courteous.
My daughter and I planned to stay here based on reviews from previous guests. We will never do that again. However, the room was a totally different story. We open the door and just about died from the nasty smell. It smelled musty, moldy. We didn't even sleep there. Instead we went across the road to a Comfort Inn. So we ended up paying for a room here that we never stayed in. This hotel needs major renovations and updates.
Rooms were filthy. Large chunks of rust were falling from the ceiling into the pool, the hot tub water was a gross green color and cold. When I approached the staff to inform them of what we found and that we were less than satisfied, we never got an apology. They did nothing to try to get us to stay. As I approached the front desk the clerk was on the phone with another guest who was also complaining about their dirty room. Terrible, terrible experience. Will never go back.
Our room was very clean. The breakfast was ok.
The staircase leading to our room very dirty. We wondered what the room would be like but it was clean. At breakfast, the 2 ladies were really behind in getting new products out. I felt like there needed to be more help there for the size of the guests at breakfast.
The staff were super friendly & helpful. Breakfast was great.
The mattress was really worn out. The A.C. could barely keep up
The free hot breakfast in the morning was nice.
The motel is very run down and out of date. There is a reason the picture of the motel is taken at night. Our room did not look anything like the rooms in the pictures. Carpet and paint were old and I was afraid to walk barefoot on the floor. The bathroom was tiny and hard to move around in. Pool area was rusted and dinghy. I would recommend paying the extra $20 for a nicer hotel
