Eamon and his wife, Joan, are passionate about their place and its people. Natives of Cahesiveen, they ran their grocery business in the town for decades, immersed in the ups and downs of community life. Their current venture, Strand’s End House, Strand’s End, Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry, is a continuation of their love and passion for their locality. Guests can expect what Eamon and Joan have always excelled in: intimate knowledge of the area and it’s inhabitants, a love of hospitality, taking time to pass the time of day, helping and supporting others, going the extra mile to make guests feel welcome, cosseted and comfortable. As with the grocery business, Eamon has embraced his B&B with equal enthusiasm, he has deepened his knowledge of the environment, he loves to feed wildbirds, he bakes traditional and contemporary specialties, and he intends to provide all his guests with a unique, memorable experience of Kerry Geo Park (the Iveragh Peninsula). This B&B is ideal for those who want to experience genuine hospitality, where the guest is paramount, and every support to explore and appreciate the region is given. Hill walkers and out-door enthusiast are especially welcome.
