Wilks House is a lovely old traditional timber 'Queenslander' house of great character and charm. It can accommodate up to 8 guests, making it an excellent choice for a large family or friends traveling together who are coming to explore the Cairns area.
This Holiday House has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, separate wc., 2 living rooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Satellite TV (Austar), wireless broadband internet, free local calls are all provided for your convenience.
The main living/dining area and all bedrooms are airconditioned for our hotter summer months. A large solar hot water system provides masses of energy efficient hot water for the house. All linen is supplied and full laundry facilities are available for guests to use.
There is a lovely private tropical back garden for children to play in, or just to sit, relax and read a good book! A good collection of toys, games, books, and videos will keep every one happy if you do decide to take a day off from sightseeing. However, there is more than enough to keep the very active guest on the go around the Cairns area.
Off street under-cover parking is available for 2 cars. Earlville shopping centre is within easy walking distance of the house with 2 major supermarkets, and many specialty shops. The Town Centre and Esplanade Lagoon is a 5 minute drive.
