a bit off the beaten track, in an industrial estate, not well sign posted, no late buses, £9 for taxi from centre
Booking, checking in and out were all very straight forward and easy. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were all very friendly.
Customer service was excellent considering the problems we had. a maintenance person was sent straight away and there was no hesitation in changing our room. The bed was very comfy, which for a hotel, is surprising. The male receptionist at the time was excellent. Top marks to him.
We had to change rooms due to a light not working and a there being a big gap in the window. I'm assuming it was the cleaners, but both nights we were woken very early to people laughing and joking (approx 3.30- 4.00am). The new room was on the ground floor on the way to the breakfast area. Again we were woken with guests going to breakfast. Not the best layout. The bathroom wasn't particularly clean, with hairs in the bath and sink.
having to pay for the carparking
The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean and quiet.
The staff receprion was very good. The food was nice and within rich. The position of the hotel was ideal to my expectation. Very easy to find hotel. The bedroom environment was clean and rightly heated
No Refrigerator to store kids foodstuffs, No activity facilities to support child distraction and learning. No free internet access as most hotels provide today to facilitate browsing of information to broaden experience and keep touch with friends whilst staying there
Really friendly staff, very helpful.
Very poorly signposted. Very hard to find. Need more signs. Also needs to be made clear that you have to go through the David Lloyd tennis centre to get to it.
Neat, clean, good food, friendly staff, quiet
Bed pillows felt like deflated balloons
Staff were informative and helpful
Breakfast room a bit too far away from hotel, but service good
Shower didn't function properly
