The kitchen table with the padded seating was clutch
Heater seatings could be better bc was too hot
walk to the beach! walk to shopping and restaurants areas.
no shampoo for guestclean room and helpful staff.
the only good thing was the location. we go bed bite all over our body and there was no toilet paper but the one on the roll and it was almost finished. Luckily I had napkins in my luggage. very very disappointed with the hotel.
the bed bite all over my arms!poor, horrible, never again.
bed on a platform roll to either side platform drooping to ground almost rolling off.small room modern, mediocre sleeper, overpriced.
CLEAN, SPACIOUS, COMFORTABLE, GREAT SERVICE AND EXCELLENT VALUE
LACK OF SIGNAGE FOR CHILDREN SAFETYOVERALL EXCELLENT PROPERTY
Surprisingly, no bugs....
the grime the hard beds on plastic platforms the 'decor' the locationTruly the most abysmal stay I have ever had in any motel. Motel 6 Carpinteria South is depressing, uncomfortable, inconvenient. What a blight on the charming town of Carpinteria!
I did not like the motel rooms have not enough space to move around also the bath room should be away from the bed room.My review according to what he motel is as follows: the motel is fine but, the rooms need to be bigger with bathroom away from bed room area. Also, should be able to have a coffee maker, microwave. The entrance door should have a space to walk in and to leave your footwear before you enter the room.
room was surprisingly clean. Very easy to access Santa Barbara from motel.
pool was freezing.my husband and I were impressed with the renovation of the hotel. Room was very clean. Staff helped us to switch to a room without the smell of cigarette smoke. Beach was close walking distance, but staff did not know the shortcut that we discovered. It's actually very close to the Tar Pits on Carpinteria Beach.
No carpet, felt cleaner than other motel 6. Nice flat screen TVs, comfy bed.
The bathroom floor was a little dirtyMore modern , was a nice room.
I wish I could come up with something. There was an attempt at making it look modern. The outside is 1985, but the inside is more European in style. It is as if they went to Ikea.
Lots. Where do you begin? I will explain below.Externally the hotel is a dive. The pool area (courtyard) was not that bad, I'll give them that. The hotel staff was casual. The 'lobby' is filled with hundreds of those tourist trifold brochures on racks. A step back in time, and your first impression is, 'what have I gotten myself into'. Once you get your room key, which also serves as a pizza delivery coupon, you find yourself faced with the door to your room. When I opened the door the first thing that hits you is the smell of 20 years of smoking covered by a coat of paint. It that old smoke smell. But, this is a non-smoking room. Here's what's funny, there's an ashtray in the room with a sticker that says 'no smoking'. That would be like having a bottle opener with a 'n...
