Location was good, staff was friendly and accommodating.
I stayed in room 211. For the price, I would have liked to have seen better upkeep. My overall experience was good but could definitely be better. I would visit again if I saw another special/promo. My concerns are as follows. Mostly minor. The glass panel separating the room and the wash room was rickity, a simple tube of silicon would probably fix this. We intended to use the bathtub on our first night but the water wouldn't get hot, just warm. I presume due to higher traffic usage, during the day it was fine. The storage/linen room on the second floor needs to be replaced, it represents a poor image on the hotel. I'm sure management is aware of this. I like the hotel, but there are minor issues that if tended to would make this place appear more wholesome and less of a transaction of services. Most people come here to get away and relax. Advice to management. Fix/repair the minor things.
The staff was fairly friendly for the most part, and you can't beat a good soak in their huuuuuge tubs. The bed was pretty comfy and the staff was alright, if a bit rushed at times.
On the second day of my stay my key decided to stop working, and the hotel staff said that it must have been mis-programmed. The unique lighting on the bed was getting cracked and old and the shower was missing some of the decorative metal covering the screws into the wall. The staff was a little rushed and didn't seem to take their time trying to explain to me the procedures of using the spa with my hotel room, expecting me to be a returning visitor who would regard the process as de rigueur.
